The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

We really enjoyed staying here as a group of five adults and 1 toddler. Plenty of room for us all and having 2 bathrooms was really great. The cabin is comfy and cosy, with beautiful views of the Cornish countryside. We used the cabin as a base to explore Cornwall as it is located centrally within easy reach of many popular towns. We loved coming back to the cabin in the evening and using the hot tub and waking up to the very friendly alpacas! You do have to drive up a very narrow and steep lane to reach the cabin but we were lucky that the lane is very quiet and so we never met any oncoming traffic. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return one day.

A wonderful place to stay with friends and family. John was exceptionally informative and responsive, making our visit smooth and enjoyable. We had a pleasant stay.

A lovely lodge in a small holiday park, the pool was an added bonus (outside and unheated but nice for a quick dip!)

Wow, what a place! Far enough away from it all to be peaceful but close enough to walk and explore many beautiful places. The annex is spotlessly clean, wonderfully equipped and situated perfectly with spectacular views across the fields. The pool was, as expected, amazing to come back to after a day out in the fresh air. We enjoyed dining on the terrace overlooking the countryside. Even on a rainy day it was beautiful. Christine and Roy are perfect hosts and really made our stay enjoyable. We usually don’t mind going home at the end of a week away, but we were really sad to leave Stonelands. Thanks for a perfect week on the Cornish coast!

We loved staying at the Coach house it was just as in the pictures, and clean/comfortable with many mod cons. The Cream tea provided was delicious and the milk from the Milkiosk was fun/special. Our spaniel loved the field to run round in, although he was a bit naughty on occasion straying with the excitement. The pool is heaven, especialy as it is timetabled per unit meaning we had it all to ourselves for our turns (what a great idea). Just a great location with some lovely beaches and walks along the coastline. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year.

We didn't spend alot of time there, due to the activities we had planned, but very comfortable and accommodating. Would stay again.

Host is super quick at replying to any queries that you may have. The property is extremely clean in all areas. The location is ideal for reaching all parts of North Cornwall as it is located on the A39. This isn't a problem as the property is set well back from the road. Plenty of on site parking. Would definitely return when we are next in the area.

Everything you need! Spacious cottage with large kitchen. We used both the dishwasher as well as the washing machine. It’s a quiet cottage and from here plenty of places to go to, like Tintagel Castle, St. Nectan’s Glenn, Treberwith Strand (beautiful) and we drove to the Lydford Gorge from here. We enjoyed our stay very much and can only recommend this ‘Old Herbery’. Bread, milk, orange juice and fresh eggs were all there for us to use.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Little Beech in Camelford. The place was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The highlight was definitely the hot tub — such a special and relaxing treat, especially after exploring all day! A big thank you to our lovely host Daisy for the thoughtful welcome touches: the delicious scones with jam and the bottle of Prosecco to celebrate my birthday were truly appreciated and made our stay even more memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing 3 night stay in this fantastic house, it easily fitted 7 adults and two small dogs. The attention to detail in decor and amenities was impressive, there was literally nothing that we thought we needed as everything was thought of and provided and more. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. The four double bedrooms (1 was a king or 2 singles) were very comfortable and quality toiletries provided in the three bathrooms. The shared areas were spacious and comfortable with plentiful seating, and all ages catered for. The hot tub and fire pit on the decking was great, and the view from the front of the house is stunning! Denise was proactive from the start and ensured our stay was a perfect 10 out of 10! We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely home from home.

We had a lovely few days at the cottage. The weather was great which allowed us to make full use of the garden and appreciate the many nesting birds. We even heard the cuckoos. It was all very relaxed, just what we needed. Also used some of Stephen’s many suggestions for local trips out. Thank you Stephen.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Rosie’s place! The views of the surroundings are unmatched and the house is beautiful. We especially enjoyed the wood burner in the evenings and the kitchen suitable for cooking delicious meals! We enjoyed walking the road into Tintagel and then hooking up with the Coastal footpath by the Camelot Hotel back home. Stunning views and a beautiful long walk! We also found Port Isaac and St. Ives to be wonderful day trips. The Rocket Store in Boscastle was AWESOME for dinner. Highly recommend to anyone. Lastly, we found searching for ‘Halgabron House’ on Google or Apple Maps got us very, very close to the house. Would recommend this as it is tucked away. Would highly recommend Rosie’s to anyone and we cannot wait to return to Cornwall!

We loved our stay here - the view from the terrace is stunning. The accommodation is very spacious and well-designed. The 3 ensuite bathrooms are of high quality. Port Isaac is a fishing village full of character and the surrounding coastline is wonderful. It's very useful to have a private parking space. Would highly recommend a stay here .

This place exceeded our expectations, beautifully furnished to a high standard. Had everything you needed there. Very homely, we really enjoyed.

We had a lovely experience staying in this charming cottage, located in the quiet village of Trewalder, just minutes away from Tintagel. Pros: A beautiful, all-wooden cottage with modern bathroom fixtures. Fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, plus thoughtful extras like dishwasher tablets, coffee pods, and biscuits. We enjoyed our first barbecue with friends—coal, wood, and everything we needed was provided. The place was clean, cosy, and very well maintained. Ideal for a larger family or group of friends, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (1 en-suite). Just a 15-minute drive from Tintagel village. Good Wi-Fi connection and a secure environment. Ample parking space available. The host, Sharon, was responsive and helpful—we were in touch on two separate occasions. Cons: Not much to complain about. Just a heads-up: the location is a bit far if you’re planning day trips to West Cornwall (Penzance, Land’s End, Minack Theatre, etc.), but that’s something to consider when planning

Shirley was great she allowed me to put food in the fridge before check in, as we arrived in boscastle so early and gave me a tour of the house and gave us loads of recommendations. Myrtle cottage is just perfect for our group of 8 adults and 3 children. It’s spacious has everything you need to cook or do a bbq. It’s perfectly idyllic and just enough roughness around the edges for us not feel like we have be wrapping bubble wrap around ornaments. Plenty of games and books to entertain we didn’t need to turn the two tvs on once! Parking space is tight but we managed to get our big van on the drive. The others parked up the road but always a space. It’s a beautiful walk into Boscastle with many pubs and things to see. It’s on a very steep hill so take your walking trainers. The beds were comfy but small so one of our group had to sleep on the sofa but it’s massive! A 30 min drive into Bude for the surf and the best discovery this year was we could hire a beach hut to leave the kit

What a gem! The upper beach house is a fantastic find with the most wonderful scenic view to look out to. The house is spacious, homely and full of all the amenities to feel home from home. The outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. With just a one minute walk to the beach and costal path, the location was perfect. Gareth was a great host, responsive and clear instructions. A brilliant stay!!

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!

The Ticket Office is very well appointed and located to provide access to the local beauty spots: Tintagel, Boscastle, the SW Coastal Path, as well as other slightly more distant attractions. A most comfortable and roomy property. We shall happily consider returning in the future.

Very convenient, excellent heating and endless hot water and luxuriant showers after wet walks and surfing! ..and well equipped kitchen and utility too. The house has a nice atmosphere and space to spread out in which adds to the feeling of luxury. Ample parking space too. Porch is a handy shelter to take off muddy boots. Easy access to the coast path and 20 minute walk to the village is the real highlight.

The road in and out of Golant takes nerves of steel. Just as well River Retreat is worth the drive. A beautiful, comfortable home with a fantastic view. It is beautifully decorated. Claire has an exceptional eye for detail. Everywhere I looked there was something of interest. Kitchen brilliantly equipped for meal prep. Another lovely week in Cornwall. Thank you Claire.

Peaceful stay with a friendly Cockerel and Hen coming to say hello every morning at our door! Tanya was very helpful and responsive. Hiked the coatal paths from Boscastle-Tinagel-New Polzeath over a few days. Loved the challenge with dramatic views. We suggest lunch at Boscastle café/Cornish Bakery or bring packed lunches :) Tanya offered all the necessary kitchen equiptment for us to have lovely breakfasts and meals outside on the patio.
