A nice and quiet place to arrive after a day of hiking. Especially for hikers of the GR3 or walking the Camino via Le Puy-en-Velay (like myself) Do not forget to bring your own bed linen (or sleeping bag) and towel. There is no shop nearby so good to realize that if you still have to eat and have come to walk.

We had a lovely stay at Jacqueline's. The listing is as described. We particularly appreciated the calm and the large grounds, also validated by our dog (be careful however it is not fully fenced and by barbed wire). We also found it very well equipped, to be recommended!

Thank you so much to both of you for your hospitality and kindness. The apartment is very nice, quiet and with a nice view. Very good bedding and bcp of amenities in the kitchen. The breakfast on the terrace was much appreciated. Keep it up!

Ideal for a moment of relaxation, disconnected from the world, in the middle of nature! Here the goal (achieved!) was to spend time with the family and combine hiking with board games. We recharged our batteries while discovering the surroundings: the medieval village of Chalencon, the lava flow of Bourianne, a short tour of Retournac, a mountain bike ride to the Pont du Diable, etc. Marie and Laurent are great hosts! They give plenty of advice on hikes in the surroundings, suggest restaurants, and offer places to discover. They are available, adorable, and super responsive. Their cottage is perfectly well-equipped. The terrace is ideal for a little rest. Deckchairs and wooden table with a great view of the horizon. Breakfast in the sun and afternoon rest in the shade... what more could you ask for?? Oh yes, a bonus for the children's happiness: animals that walk all around the cottage! In short, no more suspense... we recommend it!!!!!!
