Absolutely the best place we've ever stayed. Even better than the pictures, so peaceful and beautiful. Hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely return!

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

We spent three days and two nights in Anne-Marie and Paul's beautiful studio, and we intend to return as soon as possible. A real little cocoon, very well equipped and ideally located in a quiet and idyllic environment. And what a view from the deck! We enjoyed beautiful walks around the village, and our dog Marcus was in heaven. What can I say about the warm welcome and kindness of Anne-Marie and Paul? We simply felt like family. Anne-Marie even took the time to go for a walk with us, accompanied by her adorable dog Jojo, to show us the surroundings. Special mention for the little touches that make all the difference: fresh eggs from the house hens, cold beers and delicious cherries were waiting for us on arrival. In short, go with your eyes closed: it's really not an Airbnb like any other.

Pool is about 8m long & 1.25m deep and was perfect for us in the warm weather, while the stone building keeps cool during the day. Secluded rear courtyard with umbrella is nice for outdoor meals. 10 minutes drive to the nearest town, so a car is essential. One (nice) restaurant within walking distance.

We had a brilliant stay! Tosha and Robert were absolutely fantastic — friendly, responsive, and so thoughtful. The house itself was beautiful, spotless, and set in gorgeous surroundings. They went above and beyond to accommodate our 18-month-old, providing a stair gate, cot, and high chair, which made everything so much easier for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

This was one of the most amazing, if not the most amazing, air bnb experiences I have ever had. First, the location is incredible. You feel like you were placed in the middle of an ethereal countryside with nothing but rolling hills, the sound of birds, a gentle breeze and an occasional hello from the hosts smiling sweet dog Ella. Second, the house itself is exactly like the pictures on the listing, if not more beautiful in person. You can tell Sara has worked as a designer because the interior decor is stunning. Everything is so comfortable and clean and forces you into a state of relaxation immediately. Lastly, Sara herself is an angel. She will do anything in her power to make sure your stay is as peaceful and stress free as possible. I have never had a more helpful yet non-invasive host on Airbnb. If you are looking for a magical retreat into the gorgeous French countryside I couldn’t recommend this place more. I would plan a trip back to France simply for this air BnB. 1000/10!!

The house is beautiful, extremely well-equipped, and in a peaceful and pleasant environment (nature surrounds the house so be aware that it is possible to come across 2-3 insects!). We were greeted by Nico, a very friendly and available host. We strongly recommend!

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. We had a fantastic time in this spacious and cozy farmhouse. A great location, wonderfully quiet and beautifully situated. Enjoy the birds and butterflies in the large garden. Really an ideal place to relax and unwind. We were warmly welcomed by Anne, a very nice and friendly hostess. You feel more than welcome here. If it is up to us, we would like to come back.

Lovely countryside location with a cow pasture right out back. The accommodations were exactly as advertised with a fully equipped kitchen. What we really appreciated was all the maps and brochure from the area. They helped immensely since this was a house hunting expedition. Us and our large dogs were very comfortable.

An enchanted break!!! How can I tell you!! It's a paradise on earth, Céline and Christel are adorable. Very easy and pleasant communication. They have created a peaceful haven that takes you to a timeless world to rest. Everything is done with taste in the smallest detail. It's even more beautiful than in the photos. Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. Nous avons vraiment passé un séjour incroyable!! On avait pas envie de partir!

Jane was the best, most helpful and most reliable host I have ever encountered. She helped me retrieve left behind luggage by spending hours on the phone with DHL and the car rental office where my luggage was left. Jane’s property is in a stunning location, surrounded by wheat and sunflower fields and as I am an artist it was perfect. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, decorated with excellent taste and thought to every detail. It is located about 25 minutes from Angoulême, a small city with excellent restaurants and shops. It is also in easy access to many small and pretty villages like Auberterre Sur Dronne. I highly recommend staying at Jane’s in Champagne-Vigny. I highly recommend this property

A most excellent stay, comfortable, quiet, great pool, good facilities, great location for us, the provided breakfast was way better than expected, we would highly recommend The Grange and both Ian and Carol as hosts, superb value for money, and an ideal rural Frenchland location (pothole free roads yay), cheers!

This an incredibly charming and peacefull stay. Its VERY far out, but to wake up to the sounds of the birds and spend time with the outdoor kitty was worth it! Bashir is a very attentive host and qe would love to return of we can.
