On the edge of our family homestead overlooking meadow & forest, this tiny house offers a quiet, cozy refuge only 45 minutes from Acadia National Park. There's a twin day bed on the ground floor & a double futon in the loft. Tiny kitchen & bathroom with shower (2 temps: hot or cold) too. A heat pump keeps the place toasty warm or nice and cool. Our family's gazebo, grill, fire pit, hammock, trails & garden are shared with guests. A beautiful beach across the bay from Acadia is down the road.

We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Welcome to Hidden Retreat! My goal is to make sure my guests are comfortable, happy and have everything they need! Your small private studio is approximately 10x14 plus the bathroom. Be aware that the room is small and has a private entrance. This room has a small kitchenette, microwave and refrigerator plus some other amenities. Coffee, tea and a few snacks are provided for your comfort. The bed is a queen size bed, which I'm told is very comfortable!!
