Well located apartment, very close to the train station, it's convenient. The air conditioning is working well. The view of the harbor is beautiful but the windows were very dirty, which unfortunately prevented us from enjoying it to the fullest.

Great place to stay and extremely close to the subway, very convenient to get around. Convenience store also very near to get any essentials. Overall a great stay.

Everything was good, but I couldn't go up to the second floor and it was a little narrow.

The place is actually quite easy to find, 5-6 minutes walk from the subway station Sonamachi.There is a Lawson convenience store on the main road next to it, and there is a food street a few hundred meters away.Overall very satisfied👍

The condo is located right off the main drag and directly across from a semi-private cove of one of the best beaches in Shimoda! The photos are true to life, the place was in pristine condition, all appliances worked out perfectly, and the bedding was super comfortable! Cheryl is a great hostess! The one thing we wish we could have changed was the weather, as it was misty and windy during our stay, and then of course, the sun popped out the day we had to leave :( Hoping we can get a do-over and land Cheryl's place again some day!

My stay was very nice and cozy though the condo building felt quiet. Rei has great taste in design and furnishing to make her guests feel at home. Recommend to drive here so that you could explore around freely.

I stayed here for 3 nights on my first trip to Fukui. It was a great experience! The house is a short taxi ride from Fukui station. I loved the Japanese style rooms with tatami, and since there was heavy snow when I went, I especially enjoyed sitting under the kotatsu! The kitchen even has a dishwasher! Everything was labeled in English, and the rooms were incredibly clean and just like the photos. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay. I would definitely stay here again!

The place is very clean, neat and tidy. Has really good quality amenities including an espresso machine, a dryer room. It's very easy to find as it appears on the map directly when you put House Nozomi Hayashi San is very responsive and looked into one of our concerns immediately. It's near a bus stop with multiple buses going into the town. Katsuragawa station is about 1.5 KM, so bit of a walk when you have luggage or are tired. But we got cabs fairly easily. Do your research on places you want to travel to in Kyoto so you can see if the location works for you. In terms of convenience, lots of shops, supermarkets etc are available. It feels spacious. It would have been better to have access to the wardrobe, but we had a short stay so we did not mind living out of our suitcases. Overall good place, good amenities, location is good but that's subjective. Good, professional host.

Place is clean and spacious. 1 station away from namba. Host is friendly and responsive. Highly recommended! Will definitely book again next time.

This was an amazing place to stay. Pretty centrally located for exploring Kyoto. Apartment is large with a great view of the city. There is a bar and rooftop in the building. The noise was noticeable at night but did not affect our sleep. Bring earplugs just in case. I would definitely stay here again.

The place was comfy and walking distance to the Kyoto station. It is a spacious room and its great because you can stay with your pet : ) Highly recommend : )

This place was a true hidden gem! 💎 We were amazed at how big and clean the apartment was - you have a sleeping area with tatami mats and a very comfortable bed, as well as a large kitchen which surprised us very much. We spent two weeks here and felt right at home. From all sides there are convenience stores, the nearest train into town is about a 6-minute walk away. However, we also walked very often the 20 minutes to Namba and then Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi were not far away. Tennoji is also incredibly accessible. So all in all I would recommend the place to anyone!

Our family is importing our cat to Japan, and we needed somewhere pet friendly plus for four people. Makoto-san's place was perfect for our needs. We also loved the very soft, warm blankets which kept us cozy during this winter weather. Everything was comfortable, Makoto-san was very kind and responsive. I recommend his place if you also have a furry friend and family needing somewhere clean, cozy, and convenient.

This homestay is in a good location, convenient transportation, smooth communication with the housekeeper, and prompt response.There may be a reason we didn't stay for a few days when we checked in, and the ground counter was dusty.Suggest that guests clean up a little before they check in, especially the cutlery.Everything else is good.

Liren was an amazing host, responsive and had very easy to follow instructions for both check-in and check-out. The space was overall clean, a tiny bit busty near the blinds of the where the bed was but nothing to worry about. Unit was really worth it for the price, especially since it was a 7-8 minute walk to Dontonburi.

This apartment truly is a rare find amongst the usually small yet industriously laid out apartments in the Japanese cities that we've encountered so far! Also, so well located, being within easy access of anywhere you'd want to go.

Our host was so helpful in picking us up from the airport and also giving us the option to have a ride back to the airport. It made our trip from America memorable.
