The cottage is located in the Tange National Park, passing through the power spot Heart Cave Ryugu Grotto (model of Ghibli "Porco Rosso) and Tange Beach. When you enter the front door of the cottage, the green of the trees and the sparkling light of the sea will jump out at you. The 20-tatami-mat living room has a sofa, kitchen, loft, and fireplace in winter, and a relaxing space for family and friends. When you go out from the window to the terrace, you will find a terrace made to look out at the sky and sea that spreads from the sea. You can enjoy the slow flowing breeze and sky in the jacuzzi and hammock swing. From the terrace, go up one more flight of stairs to the sky deck. Only nature as far as the eye can see. A breathtaking view spreads out. You can hear the slow flow of the Izu sea and fishing boats, as well as the babbling of the brook and the sound of birds. It's the best detox. Now, go down one floor and you'll find a charcoal BBQ in the woods while listening to the babbling of the river. It's delicious, fun, and the best memory. At night, the starry sky spreads out so much that it dazzles your eyes, and if the weather is good, you can see shooting stars! You can enjoy the beauty of the sky.

Entire farmhouse rental "Hanare Rokutsuki"/Ise Jingu Shrine, quiet time and natural scenery, wood stove, wooden speakers

◎ A private rental healing space "hanare 6tsuki" You can experience a farm stay in a situation where the rural landscape spreads out in front of you. Limited to one group per day, it is a small building, so 2-3 people can relax. The building is made of natural materials such as plaster walls, rice husk floors, and bedrooms made of Hinoki wood from Mie Prefecture, so you can relax with peace of mind. In winter, you can use the wood stove. Special acoustic wooden speakers let you listen to music on records, CDs, and Bluetooth. You can also have a simple farming experience in the fields of the June Farm, where we grow pesticide-free vegetables. (Reservations required, fee applies) You can fully enjoy the blessings of nature that are different from your usual life in the city. You can cook for yourself using seasonal pesticide-free vegetables and Matsusaka beef from a nearby butcher shop. You can enjoy freshly ground coffee with a hand mill. Quiet Rural Retreat in a traditional Japanese house. We renovated a 80 years small wooden house by ourselves taking a long time. The building used to be used for raising silkworms by farms. It was our culture and industry to get silks in this area. You can have a calm time for having Coffee and beer, reading books, listening music... The village is surrounded by nature for hiking to mountains and rivers. Some local families live in around the house, so please stay like the village people.

A Satoyama Private Retreat in Nara

A 130-year-old Japanese farmhouse, restored by the host, is now a private retreat. Traditional beams, tatami rooms, an irori hearth and wood stove offer an authentic yet comfortable stay. From the windows, the Central Alps and peaceful countryside unfold, and at night the sky glitters with stars. Try the fire-heated goemon bath, cook in the kitchen or over the hearth, and pick seasonal vegetables from the garden. A place to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply be.

Yokoya Farm is an apple farm located on a hill. 10 mins drive from downtown of Matsumoto. We’ll host you with the idea that we want you to enjoy staying at farmer’s storehouse, kura. It’s comfortable enough to stay with minimum facilities and it left the feature of the original building. (One group only for a day) You’ll enjoy to see an apple farm. *If you have small children who can sleep with you, you can make a reservation for 5 people.

Authentic Kominka Stay

This 100-year-old traditional Japanese wooden house in Inabe City features two bedrooms and accommodates up to 8 guests. It is available for one group per day only. An extra fee applies from the second person.

 It is a 4-minute drive to the natural hot spring Ageki Hot Springs.

"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)
