There is a cottage in the national park of Tanushi, passing through the power spot of the heart cave Ryugu cave (model of Ghibli "Porky Pig"), Tanushi Beach. As you enter the front door of the cottage, the green of the trees and the sparkling light of the ocean jumps into your eyes.The living room, which has about 20 tatami mats, has a sofa, kitchen, loft, and fireplace in winter, and is a relaxing space for families and friends. A terrace made for viewing the sky and sea from the sea when the windows are open.You can luxuriously feel the comfortable breeze and sky flowing slowly in the jacuzzi and hammock swing. There is a sky deck one more floor up from the terrace.All you can see is nature.Breathtaking views. Nagano Kisoji | A luxurious house carefully renovated with the tastes and culture of 1931

I would like you to stay like a local in a historic town in the mountains, so basically I hope you can book from 2 nights. If you'd like to stay overnight, we'd love to send you a request with that message. Located in the town next to Narai-juku, Nakasendo's post town, a historic town that has flourished as a region for lacquerware from the Edo period. It was selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, and was built in 1931 in this town, where lacquerware shops are still lined up. Limited to one group per day without meals, you can use the entire house. I think the charm of Hirasawa is the unforgettable beauty and abundance. It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. The daily situation is also sending out on SNS, so please take a look. There are no screen doors in an old house in the valley of the mountains, so natural creatures may come in during the warmer months. The 93-year-old building is not polished in detail. "MakotoyaTenman" Takayama Station 3 · 155 ㎡ · Open air · Digging ~

Opened on October 1, 2016!(The second store, Makotoya Ohjin, opened in May 2024.) It is a traditional Japanese house in a very convenient location. It is about 3 minutes on foot from Takayama Station and about 5 minutes on foot from the old town. When you enter the house from the front entrance, you may feel as if you are in an old Japanese house. You can also enjoy the "horigotatsu" and "open-air bath". It was beautiful with a sauna, and I enjoyed the large garden. The living room was also spacious, and we were able to spend private time together, so I was very satisfied. There are supermarkets and Seria about 20 minutes away by car, where you can buy various items such as sake, wine, local beer, snacks, and bento boxes.There is also a Lawson a 1-minute walk away Yamanakako has a full cycling course, and there is a bicycle rental shop 3 minutes away by car, so I enjoyed cycling. The temperature was around 10 degrees in late May, and it was a little cold during the rainy season, but after cycling, it was great to warm up in the sauna and bath. Unfortunately, the nearby hot spring facility was under construction and was closed for a few weeks. However, mysa's bath was spacious and the view was great. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Location was great! The sauna while listening to the murmuring of the Itadori River and the birdsong was really the best! There were plenty of options for meals, as the kitchen and BBQ facilities were well equipped. It was fully equipped with electrical appliances, and I was able to spend a stress-free time in an environment with easy-to-understand instructions. It was beautiful wherever you walked on the large grounds, and I really wanted to stay here forever🏠 In addition, the owner was very attentive and polite, so I was able to relax. I would like to stay more consecutive nights next time, as it is even more worthwhile! I think this price is exceptional for this quality, even if you don't stay consecutive nights. I don't want it to be too well known, but I want to recommend it to everyone😊

We were traveling with 2 couples and had a car. After 2 weeks of busy cities and small guesthouses, we wanted a home we could cook dinner, linger at the dinner table, sit outside and play board games. We found that surprisingly hard to find in Japan. This home was modern, comfortable and has it all to hang out as a family or small group of friends. It’s on a busy road but you don’t hear it at all. But it did let us sit outside and play mellow music and enjoy the evenings. Osam is a host in an old school way, checking in regularly to make sure you are enjoying yourself and to offer assistance. The location is relatively close to Nara Park, which is worth a day. It’s a long 1 hour drive to either Kyoto or Osaka, but we spent half days at both and were grateful to go “home” to Osam’s place at the end of the day. Worth staying 3-4 nights to relax and explore this part of Japan.
