From the home there is a short drive to Husvik school with playground equipment, public transport, lake, beach and great hiking areas. Husvik is located close to the sea and there are several swimming areas and beaches nearby. It is only a small walk down to Klopp beach and marina. The coastal trail is popular. «Lærerindehuset», the teachers house, was built in 1936 by the descendants of the local count and given to her as a gift. Located between the Jarslberg fields and the counts forrest, you can enjoy amazing sunsets from the large terrace while gazing at the Tønsberg bay.
