The house is close to Smedstugan, our second house we rent out here on Airbnb. Fishing included. Salmon stocked. One fish is included in the rent, then SEK 100/salmon. Rowboat included. The kitchen has a folding section, which can be pulled completely to the side, large opening out to the balcony. Floor 1 - kitchen, TV room, bathroom. Swedish lake house between Vimmerby and Västervik

Just over 15 minutes outside Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby and about 30 minutes from the coastal town of Västervik, you will find this place with its own garden and beach (shared with the host). The view of the lake creates conditions for wonderful nature experiences - all year round! In winter, lovely fires warm you and in summer, the lake cools you! With a canoe (rented by the host), you can experience Kalmar County's largest lake with only the sound of the paddles heard and have the opportunity to see protected animals, ranging from sea eagles to otters.

Stay in our charming little retro pearl of 78 sqm with large garden just next to Pelarne church. 5 minutes to Bullerbyn. 10 minutes (1 km) to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgrens Värld. The house has two bedrooms, a common room, a dining room, a kitchen and a new bathroom with a toilet, a shower and a washing machine. Two double beds (one large, and one 140 cm wide) and a single bed (pull-out sofa in the dining room, for children or shorter adult.). Guests clean themselves after their stay. Please bring your own towels and bedsheets.

It's only about 10 minutes to Västervik Resort and about 15 minutes to the city center. Note: The house has been expanded in 2025 to get to a proper bedroom.
