Our town is a quiet town where nature is alive in all seasons. In summer, the nutritious water flowing from the forest grows delicious crops, In winter, a lot of snow accumulates, and the snow scene is very Hokkaido-like. Our inn "oheso" is very convenient because it is located in the heart of the town. All the facilities you need for daily life, such as a goat barn, station, public bath, bento shop, game specialty shop, tavern, soba shop, pub, cafe, supermarket, drug store, etc., can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. Mouni Garden - Nature overlooking Ishikari Bay

Aihara, a long-established restaurant known for its Ishikari hot pot, was renovated over 100 years ago based on Aihara Fisheries, a fishing company in Ishikari Beach. A house in the great outdoors overlooking the Ishikari Lighthouse, the setting of the 1957 movie, "The Wandering Years". It is a treasure trove of coastal plants and wild birds on a magnificent natural plain adjacent to Hamanasu-no-Oka Park, which spreads out at the mouth of the Ishikari River. From June to September, it is a comfortable space surrounded by a colony of Hamanasu flowers (Ainu name Mauuni). (Accommodation is available from mid-April to the end of October) The 2nd floor is a cafe lounge, "Mouni no Oka", which also appears in the movies "Hoshi wo Mimamatte KUU" and "Tantei wa Bar ni Iru 1". A cafe with a panoramic view of Ishikari Bay. You can enjoy a natural hot spring at the nearby Banya-no-Yu (600 m). The nearby Frontier Riding Club also offers a beach walking course. Please note that there may be other guests staying. We are not good at language other than Japanese. We will do our best, but please forgive me (>_)

Our house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, just about a 2-minute drive from the Date highway exit. Datemombetsu Station can be reached in around 7 minutes by car. With a 10–15 minute walk, you can get to the city center, where you’ll find supermarkets and restaurants of all kinds (ramen, sushi kaiten, izakaya, and various fast-food places). From April to November, we provide bicycles free of charge, which you can use to get around the city.
