Lane Cottage is a small rustic south facing cottage with french doors opening onto a lawn giving wide views of the Lanherne valley and the sea. A small bathroom with bath/shower and w/c, and a double bedroom open off the living room. From the bedroom a short, steep, narrow, cupboard staircase leads up to a low, sloping ceilinged attic room with two single beds and a sea view, suitable for children. There are no gates and several openings in the garden which is boarded by a day stone wall.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Mawgan Porth. The views over our favourite beach were stunning, and the grounds were equally impressive—peaceful, spacious, and well-kept. Inside, the house was stylish, comfortable, and perfect for our family of four (mum, dad, and two boys). With three large bedrooms, it was more than enough space. We’ve visited Mawgan Porth over 15 times and stayed in many places—this is one of the best. The house sits in the upper part of the bay with great access to the main road. Facilities were excellent: a lovely balcony, tasteful furniture, quality bed linen and towels, great lighting, and thoughtful touches like luxury handwash. The kitchen was especially well stocked with high-end equipment. Emma was a brilliant host—warm, communicative and made everything easy. This is easily the best property we’ve stayed in ever! Can't wait to return.

The Sail Loft is such a beautiful place, it was a very luxurious few days! Beautifully clean and appointed, with the views and access to the beach an absolute bonus. We had lovely weather too and enjoyed the terrace with all the amenities attached to it. It was also very peaceful considering we were so close to the beach. And the pub! We loved the pizza restaurant just up the road, and the walks across the headland, and we were able to walk into Newquay for lunch and an afternoon‘s shopping. A really lovely break and we hope to come back one day. Thank you!

Modern, relaxed beach house.

Sea Salt is a lovely house and totally as described - a modern, high spec house in a great village. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had a great range of quality appliances, the lounge was spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean with great showers. Sam had left us a lovely selection of welcome goodies including a bottle of wine - thank you! There are several places to eat, all within walking distance - we particularly enjoyed visiting the Merrymoor Inn for drinks and good food. The only downside is the road, it’s very busy during the day and just a short walk to the beach & village requires care as there’s no pavement. However we knew where it was before booking so that wasn’t a surprise and it wouldn’t stop us from returning. We and our dogs had a great few days there.

If you’re looking for a touch of luxury, in a peaceful beach location, with everything you could possibly need, look no further! This place e is brand new, looks even better than the pictures. It had every single thing you could possibly need and more. Even the welcome gifts were amazing. The view is stunning, and we had perfect weather. The hot tub is massive. The location is a quiet dead end just a 5 minute walk from an excellent Tapas restaurant, a pub and the beach. Celebrated my 50th here with family and it was just brilliant. I’ve already recommended to all my friends.

We stayed at Shirley’s place for a week and had an amazing time. The house is great with loads of space, lovely garden, amazing views, and it’s walkable to Mawgan porth beach in under 5 mins. Highly recommended.

Sea Gem is the perfect place to stay for a family wanting easy access to the beach with all the amenities you could ask for. Having the family bathroom for the children and a private ensuite for us was absolutely perfect. Couldnt recommend Sea Gem enough, the views off the balcony where phenomenal, we sat and ate tea out there every evening. Thankyou Anthony, we hope to return again next year. If we can get in 🤞, I can imagine this will be incredibly popular during School holidays.

Absolutely Perfect! Our Second Stay at Baywatch, and We Love It Even More! This was our second time staying at Baywatch in Mawgan Porth, and we couldn’t be more delighted! From the moment we arrived, it felt like coming home. The house is just as welcoming as we remembered — everything is spotlessly clean, stylish, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing family getaway. Our family loves the spaciousness of the property, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. One of the highlights of staying at Baywatch is the wonderful location. Mawgan Porth is a beautiful, peaceful spot - even in peak season, with a great local pub. Can't wait to get back - asap!
