We had a lovely time at Marlène's place. Good location to visit surrounding areas. Sparkling clean apartment with all the amenities and supplies to enjoy your stay - tea and coffee, soap for the dishwasher and washing machine, etc. Very bright and sunny! Easy to park your car. Large terrace with views of the church. Nice quiet location. Several walking trails just outside the house. Marlene was a perfect host. Very proactive and quick to respond to any queries. She was there to greet us and explain things. Both Marlene and Patrick gave us lots of information and suggestions about things to do and places to visit. We stayed in the upstairs apartment which we really liked, but the downstairs apartment is also really nice. We didn't hear any noise from the couple who were there and I asked them if they heard our music or the dishwasher, but they said not at all. Would highly recommend Marlene and Patrick's place!!

Beautifully located in nature, completely away from everything, quiet with great views. Delphine is an outstanding host, very charming and communicative. We were able to communicate well in English. She showed us the farm animals, and we loved her dogs. All of them are calm and sociable, definitely suitable for children and people who are afraid of jumping and barking dogs. The nights with dolphins were a highlight of our trip.

If you are looking for calm and nature, this is the place, pretty little village of 600 inhabitants. Martine is welcoming . The accommodation is pleasant, cozy and stocked with all the necessities , we had forgotten the towels and had the good surprise to find them available, the bedding is comfortable. The area is very beautiful. Upaix is close to a small town Laragne Monteglin where you will find all the useful shops and restaurants, we ate at Le Délicatessen and we recommend it. We couldn't eat in Upaix at Beau Soleil because you have to book in advance. We also advise you to visit the Citadel of Sisteron which is a 15-minute drive away. We plan to come back to this place to discover the Gorges de la Méouge.

The famous climbing area of Orpierre is quickly accessible from here. Very nice house in the village in pretty surroundings (flowers all around, fountain, mountain view). The kitchen was a little dark, but the bedroom was bright and especially pretty. The second room under the roof is only accessible via a steep wooden staircase (not a problem for us, but rather nothing for completely unsporty people).
