Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tropea

The apartment is very well located in the heart of Tropea’s old town, with the most beautiful sea-view. There are several very good restaurants nearby. It was quite hot and there was only one fan. Would have been nice to have had a second one, especially at night. Other than that, we can highly recommend this spacious and very well equipped apartment. Massimo was more than helpful with everything. He gave us many good recommendations where to eat, grocery shopping, etc.

Highly recommend. Large bedroom / office, great wifi, clean, safe, private, cleaning equipment. 5 minute walk into the center of the village.

This is a hidden gem! The most beautiful house in a stunning location. Totally tranquil and amazing hosts. Wish we could have stayed longer!

A perfect little villa in a truly enchanting setting! The house is located within a beautiful residence, with attention to the smallest details, quiet and very safe. The accommodation is clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need, parking in front of the house for a comfortable stay. Well-maintained green areas and common services. The villa is equipped with all the garden equipment, deckchairs, chairs, and tables where you can also comfortably eat or have a good coffee, surrounded by greenery. Convenient location to reach the sea and the main attractions of the area. Owners (David and Katrin) are kind and helpful. Absolutely recommended!

The perfect location to be close to Tropea but also have privacy and peace. Luisa was very kind and was always available to answer our questions. The appartment was very clean and had everything we needed, the parking space was also very appreciated. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be in a peaceful space while also being close to the beaches.

We had the best stay at Bruno’s place! It offers everything you need, plus it is very clean and pretty. There is a wonderful garden and a beautiful terrace. The location in Drapia up on the mountain is suitable for people who like it calm and enjoy the slow living lifestyle for vacation. Bruno and his wife are definitely the nicest hosts we ever got to know and we are so happy we decided to stay with them! Bruno offers help wherever he can and has perfect knowledge of what the area has to offer. All in all a perfect vacation we will not forget! We‘ll definitely come back :)

Anna was very sweet and super responsive! Her place comfortably slept 6 people! (One bed was slightly smaller than the others just as it was listed but we still made it work!) There were cute restaurants (few but with nice views) 7 minute walking distance from the air bnb. Anna was kind enough to make reservations for us as well! Her place was clean and well kept! 25 minute drive to central Tropea Beach.

Lovely place, especially the garden. Super well located. Great communication and super flexible check-in. Well equipped kitchen. It was also great to have cooking basics in the house!

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very compact and well situated. Reaching the beach takes about 10-15 minutes, but expect to climb a lot of stairs on your way back.

Armando’s house was very clean, and he was a very good host. He was communicative, welcoming, and even helped extend our checkout. A++ recommend.

It was like winning the lottery to find this beautiful accommodation. Nicer than in the photos and the view from the balcony - priceless! Beautifully situated, 5 minutes by car from Tropea center. Since we were there without a car and it was quite steep up and down on roads without a sidewalk, Filippo "saved our lives". Incredibly nice and likeable, he always took us and picked us up wherever we wanted to go. In addition, great tips for beach, restaurant, etc. Domenica was also very warm. A great week that we wouldn't have traded for a star hotel. Great communication, uncomplicated process, magnificent view, picco bello clean and no concern remained unfulfilled. 10 out of 5 stars 😍

This is an absolute gem of an air BnB. We stayed for a long weekend and the town is amazing. The flat is located in a small quaint square above a beautiful restaurant and it is literally in the middle of the town whilst being private. Tropea is a beautiful old town with delicious food, friendly locals and a stunning beach. Aurora and Guiseppe were very helpful and accommodating and we used google translate to bridge the language gap. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a quiet stunning beach holiday with amazing food. Thank you so much Aurora and Guiseppe!!

Astrea Apartment was the most unique and memorable stay of our trip to Italy. The luxury of a large private garden overlooking a breathtaking view of Tropea and the water - all to ourselves - was fantastic. The house itself was clean, beachy, and very comfortable. A quick thank you to Francesco, who was extremely thorough, friendly, and accommodating to all of our needs. If you’re visiting Tropea (which you definitely should), you should enjoy your stay here at Astrea Apartments.

We highly recommend this beautiful apartment. The view was breathtaking and the apartment was really nice. It had everything that you would need and Francesco gave us a lot of recommendations for the area. Both Francesco and Sophia were super nice and we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Lovely apartment - exactly like the photos. Very clean and tastefully furnished. The outside terrace (furniture and views) were amazing! Would recommend! Car definitely required.

The apartment is finished in every detail. There is an air conditioner for the living area and one for the sleeping area. The fixtures are excellent and create perfect soundproofing. There are mosquito nets, a washing machine, a clothesline, and a terrace that overlooks the sea, making you fall in love. The kitchen has everything you need, in fact we cooked lunch and dinner for the whole week we stayed. Perfection does not exist, but this Airbnb needs an excellence that we have never encountered to lose the right to be considered perfect. We felt at home in contact with the sea that we love so much.

We had a wonderful week + stay at Gregorio’s place. It is very comfortable…loved the location, views, and relaxing on the huge roof terrace. The location of the apartment is just steps away from the town square, with restaurants and all the sights, or walking down to the beach, and the pizzo train station is reachable on foot from there, where you can train to other coastal towns such as Tropea. Gregorio and family are very warm and attentive hosts, and we can’t recommend them more highly!

Absolutely recommend this lovely, spacious and spotless apartment! Would have gladly stayed for longer. Excellent value for money. The location was optimal - a five minute walk to the historic center, but away from the crowds and noise. All you really hear is birdsong and the occasional chatter from the neighbors. There are many grocery stores nearby, and a great pasticceria around the corner with the most delicious croissants. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. The apartment remained pretty cool even on warm days. The AC unit is in the bedroom and worked great. From the bathroom window you'll see a sliver of the sea. And the cutest neighborhood cats! The bed does need to be changed as it caves in, however I slept quite well once I changed the high profile pillow to a lower one from the closet. This is the only downside to the apartment. I had the opportunity to meet and have a nice chat with Giovanni, who was the most courteous and lovely person. Grazie di cuore!

The apartment was in a beautiful, quiet area with a magnificent sunset that you can watch. Mary was wonderful and helpful!

We had a very nice stay. The accommodation was great as well as the view. We enjoyed spending time in the apartment and in the area. Everything was very well furnished and everything you need was available. We will be happy to come back.

Honestly a great stay. Everyone was so helpful with the check in instructions and the place was walking distance from the train station which was so nice. The apartment was clean and beautiful! Lots of hot water, a large living room and two great balconies. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer. Yes the beach ACTUALLY is a 10 minute walk from the place, unlike many adds saying it’s close. There’s no need for a taxi or anything. The beaches themselves were also beautiful. All in all a great place to stay. Lovely hosts. And a beautiful beach.
