Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Tuglie

A comfy home with beautiful high vaulted ceilings. It has a huge rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a drink at the end of the day. Massimo was easy to communicate with and kind enough to swap mattresses so the firmest one was on the down stairs bed for us. There is a quite steep, winding and narrow staircase to get into the apartment and more to get to the second bedroom and also the rooftop terrace which adds to its charm but may not be suitable for the elderly and unfit. Its in a very quiet location only 10 minute walk from the station and only a few minutes to bars and restaurants.

The descriptions and pictures are very accurate. The apartment is easy to find if you don’t use google maps directions/navigation. The most direct route is to follow the “lungomare”, turn at AMU restaurant, and proceed to number 10. The apartment is on several floors, without an elevator. There are 65 steps from the street to the rooftop terrazzo and kitchen. Each bedroom is on a separate stop along the stairs below the kitchen floor. The apartment is the best equipped of any apartment in which we’ve stayed over a period of 12 years. Francoise is very helpful and responsive. She provided a great deal of local info and recommendations. Also, she can arrange for a parking garage; street parking is non-existent.

We relaxed the minute we walked down the stairs to the house and saw the beautiful view over the Adriatic. Our group of two couples loved the many outdoor areas, the comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Great to have a BBQ too. Vincenzo and Giulia were fantastic hosts and were very helpful. Castro is a lovely town on the south coast and we definitely recommend Casa Le Radici.

A wonderful four night stay in the historic centre of Lecce. The apartment/house was larger than expected. Perfect for families or friends travelling together. Giorgia was a great host, meeting us early at the apartment so we could store our cases. She provided drinks and breakfast food. All those little extras make for a special stay. I highly recommend a stay at Giorgia’s house.

We had a wonderful week at Antonio’s home. It was even better than the photos and description. Little details like having coffee to make in the morning, some water in the fridge on arrival and cookies for the girls. We arrived quite late and Antonio met us to ensure we got in ok. He was so helpful with recommending some great spots for food, beach clubs, local activities, local supermarkets. In my opinion, Antonio went above and beyond to ensure that we had a lovely holiday.

This house and the garden are so perfect, charming, relaxing, comfortable, all the details are impressive, you will have everything you need. Giuseppe is very kind and welcoming. Thank you very much for all the gifts. I love my stay. The location is perfect to discover the Salento and Puglia in general. I will come back

Had a great stay at Marco’s place in Lecce. It’s in one of the nicest spots in town with two great bars in the square by the Greek church, but also very near everything. Marco communicated well and the instructions to get in the apartment were clear. Yes there is music in the square at night but this didn’t bother us too much even though it went on quite late. Would stay here again if I went to Lecce.

We had an amazing stay in Otranto at Enrica’s place! Perfect location. The home stayed cool even in warm early June weather - we didn’t even need to use the AC. Would 100% stay again!

We enjoyed a lovely 5 night at Alessandra’s beautiful home. The home is well located in the historic center and surrounded by excellent dining options. Parking was very easy to find in the near by square. Although we didn’t meet Alessandra in person, we was extremely kind and responsive in all our communications.

Lucci d’Oriente exceeded our expectations. The apartment is spacious, cheerfully decorated and equipped with absolutely everything - nothing is missing. From each window you can see the sea, as if you were inside it. The terrace with direct access to the sea is a real privilege. Going up from there to the apartment takes some effort, but it's totally worth it. It is ideal for a family with children, very comfortable and functional. Santa Cesarea Terme is quiet, with some options to eat light and enjoy an ice cream. Parking lot next door is free if there is a place, and very accessible if paid. Rita and Stefano were exceptional hosts: attentive, friendly and always available. They made us feel right at home. We would definitely go back!

Every time you travel, you have that feeling of encountering something new, although being a host deserves to have desire and time, this woman and her partner, have left us to the desire to meet them more, they are a charm of people, respectful, reliable, and very kind and kind, we will gladly see them again in their beautiful apartment. From the coffee pods and fresh water upon arrival to the final greeting, Donato and Lucia were wonderful hosts; they were also extremely flexible on both check-in and check-out. The house was very clean and tidy, very spacious for two people and equipped with brand new furniture. The location is central in Taviano and there is always space for the car in the side streets; also if you do not have a car the station is a 5-minute walk.

Very, very nice apartment with everything you need, including a great balcony. The location is great, everything is within walking distance and we felt very comfortable overall.

Davide was super responsive and friendly, we enjoyed our stay the apartment is full of details and clean. We arrive later than plan he was super flexible on the check-in.

Being an excellent host ,Guiseppe was waiting for us when we arrived in order to guide us and give us the necessary information for the proper functioning of the apartment . We loved and appreciated that he shares with us the history of his beautiful home,transmitted to his family for a very long time ,as well as the transformations he has made there. We were looking for a quiet place in a good location and we found it in Carpignano , a great base for visiting the area! I recommend it.

Our stay in Castrignano del Capo was a real dream! Lorenzo's house is an authentic gem: tastefully cared for in the smallest details, welcoming and immersed in absolute quiet. The terrace is enchanting, overlooking a centuries-old olive grove that offers a peace that is difficult to describe in words. A sensory and regenerating experience. A great deal of credit also goes to Lorenzo, his mother Antonella and his father Pietro, who are always available and attentive. They welcomed us warmly, giving us valuable advice on places to visit, typical restaurants and the most beautiful beaches. Always present if necessary, but with great discretion. The location is ideal: in a few minutes you can reach the wonderful beaches of Salento and the authentic villages of the Salento hinterland. Castrignano is a quiet but lively village, with friendly and helpful people. It is the perfect place for those seeking beauty, silence, nature and authenticity. We left a piece of our heart here! Highly recommended!

Buena Onda's place was just perfect. The quality of the services exceeded our expectations and the villa was even more beautiful than in photos. The interior of the house is very well decorated and offers plenty of space for a family, with well separated parts that allowed our 11 year old daughter to have her own space. The house is also very well located and makes it easy to visit the south of the chickens by being both close to Otrante, Lecce or Gallipoli. We recommend this address without hesitation to all families or friends wishing to visit the area and spend a pleasant time in a house in the heart of nature.

We arrived and departed with a „WOW“ on our lips. The place of Bea is so special und unique - it is obvious how much love and care is put into this place. It is good to relax and enjoy the fabulous pool! We would love to come back!

The place is excellent. The view of the sea and dusk incredible. The host is a super host, he had lots of patience with us. I managed to lock ourselves out and he came all the way to the house late at night to open it for us. He is the best host I ever had.

Stefania's house Not on a nature-protected coast, surrounded by a huge garden with beautiful plants, from which you can see the sea from everywhere. We had a perfect stay in Stefania's house and felt extremely comfortable. For people who love nature, this place is an absolute paradise and Stefania is an unconditionally excellent host who does everything at all times to make her guests feel comfortable. Since we had our dog Anton with us, the large garden was also a perfect place for him. From the grounds, you can take wonderful walks along small country lanes all the way down to the sea. The coast in this region is breathtakingly beautiful with many small coves and wonderful hiking opportunities. We can fully recommend Stefania and her heavenly garden. Mirko and Sharon are extremely warm people and hosts. You can feel how much love the house and the property were designed with. The living/dining area is a great place to relax with huge floor-to-ceiling windows and ocean views. There are many sitting and lying corners on the property; everyone will find the right place for themselves. The kitchen is excellently equipped. Mirko and Sharon have given us a lot of and valuable tips for exploring the area as well as restaurants that we would also recommend without hesitation. As a starting point for diverse places in Puglia, Urmo is perfect; a historic place nearby is better than the next one. We will be back.

This Airbnb was fantastic. Truly impressive property with amazing views. The house itself was very clean and open plan, equipped with everything you would need and more. The pool area was incredible and we spent much of our time here after going out for the day. It is by far the best airbnb we have stayed in and has every home comfort you can think of!

The stone house with extension was very lovingly and tastefully renovated. Inside, it was bright. Outside we had a very nice, covered terrace with an outdoor kitchen. In the evening, everything was beautifully lit. We felt really comfortable. Carlo was a very nice host. He gave us a lot of tips and was very helpful. We will be happy to come back.
