The stay has been definitely good. The host, Simon, is a friendly and kind person, always ready to help in case of necessity. I spent a couple of months there, and the experience has certainly been positive. The house is well-equipped for long stays like mine, with all the essentials, including access to the kitchen and various appliances such as a washing machine, iron, etc. I particularly loved the location, situated in a very nice and tidy neighborhood on the hills south of Gateshead. From the bedroom window, there is a delightful view of the countryside to the west. I had to commute every day to Newcastle city center, which is easily accessible by bus (lines 51-52) followed by the metro (just a few stops to Central Station, Monument, and Haymarket). The entire journey takes approximately 30 minutes. I highly recommend this place, considering its proximity to Newcastle and the charming, town-like features of the area.

Good location. just a 15 min walk from Jesmond Metro and a short walk on the River Tyne where you are spoilt for choice on eating and drinking establishments

Great location only a 10-15 min bus ride into the centre of Newcastle, apartment was lovely and very clean. Great comms from the owner and clear instruction on how to gain access. Would definitely stay again and recommend!
