In the beautiful Twente landscape in the middle of nature reserve the Springendal, just a stone's throw from the German border and near the picturesque town of Ootmarsum, lies the Hoeve Springendal estate. You have access to one of the ten apartments that are fully, attractively and comfortably furnished. One of the apartments is furnished for four people. In our old granary, you can have breakfast or lunch, and we also have delicious freshly baked apple pie or a locally special beer.

Our completely refurbished bakery is located in one of the quietest places in the Netherlands. From the yard, walk into the endless German forests or explore the area by bicycle. Beautiful places such as Ootmarsum, Hardenberg and Gramsbergen are close by, but there is also plenty to see across the border. The kitchen is fully furnished and the private terrace has a comfortable seating area, barbecue, sunbeds and parasol. A luxury breakfast is available on request for €20 per person.

The rural area around, adjoining the beautiful spa town (Kurstadt) Bad Bentheim with its wonderful castle, invites you discover its many treasures on bike and hiking tours on many different routes. Still, it is easy to reach many nice destinations in the neighbouring country of Holland as well as in the Westfalian area around Münster with its countless castles and its beautiful landscape.

Enjoy this quiet place right on the edge of the forest. Dogs are allowed free of charge, 1 meter high fence. For the dogs, there are feeding bowls, water bowl, basket and other sleeping places, bench and swimming pool. For children, next to the house is a playground and about 500 meters away is a beautiful Abenteuerspielplatz. Entrance is free here. A sofa bed can accommodate additional guests. Situated directly on the Vechte, in a quiet location with many hiking and cycling trails, you will find our nice guest house.
