On a 1000 sqm sunny clearing in the forest and holiday area of Uelsen, surrounded by birch trees, pines and oaks, lies our 2024/25 extensively and energetically renovated bungalow. Behind the house you have a wonderful view over meadows and pastures. Especially in the morning when the sun rises over the meadow and you sit in the conservatory with a coffee – an unforgettable moment! Here you can enjoy heavenly tranquility in a natural environment.

En dat temidden van het groene, glooiende Twentse landschap en op steenworp afstand van het pittoreske stadje Ootmarsum. Nu alleen nog het goede gezelschap! In one of the quietest places in the Netherlands, our completely refurbished bakery is located. Walk into the endless German forests from the yard or explore the area by bicycle. Beautiful towns such as Ootmarsum, Hardenberg and Gramsbergen are close by, but there is also plenty to see across the border. The kitchen is fully furnished and the private terrace has a comfortable seat, barbecue, sun loungers and parasol. A luxury breakfast is available on request for €15,- per person

The Good Gem; to really rest.

Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Het Goede Gemoed; "Afterwards and yet close". Good cozy restaurants are plentiful and also grabbing a movie is done in no time.

Unique estate in nature near Ootmarsum

In the beautiful Twente landscape in the middle of nature reserve the Springendal, just a stone's throw from the German border and near the picturesque town of Ootmarsum, lies the Hoeve Springendal estate. You have one of the ten apartments that are fully, cozy and comfortably furnished. One of the apartments are furnished for 4 people. In our old granary, you can have breakfast or lunch, and we also have delicious freshly baked apple pie or a locally special beer.

Enjoy this quiet place right on the outskirts of the forest. Dogs allowed free of charge, 1 meter high fence. For the dogs there are food bowls, water bowl, basket and other sleeping places, crate and swimming pool available. For children, next to the house is a playground and about 500 meters away is a beautiful Adventure Playground. The entrance is free here. This spacious home is in a preferred location of Uelsen. The necessities of daily use can be taken care of in the village. Numerous shops, restaurants, banks and medical care ensure a pleasant village atmosphere. In the immediate vicinity there is an adventure playground and a large outdoor pool. Extensive cycling and hiking trails to the neighboring Netherlands provide relaxation and recreation. So pure relaxation!!!

In our lovingly furnished guesthouse, we warmly welcome our guests. The guesthouse has 2 single beds, which are located on a gallery. (The beds can also be pushed together). A sofa bed can accommodate additional guests. Situated directly on the Vechte, in a quiet location with many hiking and cycling trails, you will find our nice guest house.
