Michelle was a very proactive host. Space is clean, neat and as pictured. Was great alternative to hotel for a conference trip. Would stay again.

Nice neighborhood. We enjoyed walking in the nearby canyon and had 2 nice meals in the shopping area that was just 2 blocks away.

The cozy casita was absolutely amazing. It was perfect for my weekend getaway. I had plans in emeryville it was very close. The details of the casita were well thought out. I felt the love that was put in. Would definitely stay again.

This is the feeling of living in your own home. A dreamy backyard, well-equipped kitchen facilities, spacious and bright rooms—even though it's an old house, we can still enjoy the comfort of home. Jill’s place was amazing and she is a wonderful super host. Very responsive, beautiful property and neighborhood. Peaceful and a great place for small kids and adult kids too. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to this area.

Jane’s place was very clean and we loved the comfortable beds! We spent most of our time with family at their home, but appreciated a clean and peaceful neighborhood to come home to and rest each night. There were a few neighbors with dogs who barked into the night, which took a few. Nights to get used to- but we did. Appreciated how clean it was as that is always important to us. Thank you!!

Omg, Anton’s place was just perfect! We could never get enough of his beautiful home and the incredible view! Wow! Everyday, I would just sit outside and stare at it! It was wonderful being so close to nature! During our stay, we saw deer, turkey, cows right in our backyard! Amazing! It is so close to nature and yet, the location is so central and is very close to everything! It’s like a little paradise in the heart of the city! And the house was so complete, we couldn’t have asked for anything more! There was even a newly installed jacuzzi that Anton would let us use! Anton is a very generous and caring host! And he was always just a call away! My husband told me we should always stay at Anton’s when we are in San Jose😊 we love the place!

Jack was a wonderful host from our first communication to our post-stay goodbye. I'm also an Airbnb superhost so I automatically looked for the things that I know are important to guests and Jack just aces every one of them. I booked his house last minute while in the area and taking a couple days to explore San Francisco. The house is close to the rapid public transport and Jack explained just what we needed to do. It was convenient, safe and easy. His house is just delightful and so much better than a hotel. The decor is light and airy and the entire house just feels comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, and the patio was a great place to have morning coffee. There was ample private parking and the neighborhood seems safe and quiet. Jack really exemplifies the best of Airbnb hosts and his property is absolutely one that I would recommend.

Julie’s place was something else! It’s well decorated, has a lot of amenities, beautiful surroundings, and is close to grocery stores! Perfect for families and long stays. While it’s very close to the train tracks, the noise was very tolerable, probably only 1-2 trains per day, and the house is equipped with very good soundproofing. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to everyone visiting Bay Area to stay in Julie’s place!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an apartment in Santa Row, San Jose, and it was nothing short of fantastic! Strolling through Santa Row, you’ll find beautifully landscaped streets, making it a joy to explore on foot. The proximity of cafes, restaurants, and entertainment venues means you can easily grab a bite or enjoy a drink without needing to drive. This makes it particularly appealing for tourists and locals alike.

An absolutely beautiful, well appointed, and maintained home. It was a fabulous place to be for our vacation. The mattresses were heavenly. Highly recommend. We will return.

Very convenient location, easy walk to UC Berkeley. Even though it's near a busy intersection, it felt very quiet and peaceful. The unit is much more spacious than I was anticipating and it was nice to have a complete kitchen. Al is a very kind and responsive host. I would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic time. The view was second to none, with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Great coffee shop within walking distance (albeit with a decent hill). We happened to stay when whales were just off the coast and saw them from the shore. Could not have asked for a better day. For those with mobility issues - you do need to climb about 10 narrow steps to get to the tram, which lets you skip the rest of the stairs. But there is no way around those first steps. Would absolutely come back.
