Family-friendly holiday rentals in University District, Seattle

We had a terrific stay at Ethan's beautiful oasis! The apartment is comfortable and clean and worked very well for us as a family of 4 with two kids under the age of 10. Ethan's descriptions of sound from other units and shared spaces was accurate and helpful, though there was overall very little noise from other units. The room darkening shade in the bedroom was a great feature, as well as well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Ethan is very available and responsive. The neighborhood is great, easily accessible to restaurants and parks. The spa is goregous and the kids loved the trampoline. I would absolutey recommend this place and would stay again.

Our first time staying in Kirkland during our visit to Seattle. It was great. It was quieter, easier to park, really quaint downtown with lots of eating options, and yet our drives all around Seattle weren’t that long. Laura’s house was great, just like the pics. Clean, easy to park, quiet, and the deck area is super nice. Cassita was nice and private. And Laura was an excellent host - proactive and always available for questions. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful place and location. Great view and features to enjoy indoors and outside. It was well prepared, and expectations/instructions were clear.

This was our third time staying at Paula's place, and it feels like a second home. It is our first choice of place to stay when we travel to Seattle to visit our family, and I recommend it to all of our friends who are going there.

This house is incredible. The location is perfect, walking distance to many food and drink spots. There is an amazing coffee shop right on the corner. Sauna and soaking tub are relaxing. The house is clean and organized and has clear instructions. Hosts are helpful and knowledgable. Highly recommend!

Stunning! We saw bald eagles flying right in front of us and Orcas swimming in the channel- all from the seaside deck and hot tub! The indoor space is just as pristine, very clean and nice- but the highlight is the outdoor area for sure. Not to mention the location made it very easy to explore the island and more. We highly recommend Kevin’s place for anyone staying on Bainbridge. Better yet, cancel your Seattle plans and stay here instead. Thank you Kevin!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was central to so many sights and places to visit. It felt safe and secure, tho we were unfamiliar with how the door lock worked initially. The space felt open and clean minus small things like baseboards and doors. I appreciated the coffee and very clean linens. The only thing that was slightly unexpected was that the listing said laundry was In unit. Which is technically true but you must contact the host to have her let you into the private utility area of the house to use it. Also, you can hear the family upstairs but they also do pass by a door that is connected to the living room. It was quiet but startled us the first time.

Marcell is a great host, friendly and communicative. Very helpful with local suggestions and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if the listing is available the next time I’m in Seattle.

This space was perfect for my little solo stay in Seattle! I didn’t realize that the Airbnb app had changed around where some things were since I had last use it, and James was extremely helpful with getting me the information I needed. I definitely recommend this space!

my partner and I stayed here for a long weekend trip to the Olympic/Seattle area. it was close enough to Kingston to ferry into Seattle and close to a bunch of beautiful spots on the peninsula. Super little/cozy cabin that has all you need. Martha and Noah were super friendly and helpful for things to check out in the area.

Brenda is an incredible hostess. the apartment was charming and cozy, supplied with cooking paraphernalia and spices and other supplies. the bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment quiet. Brenda checked in with us often to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay with her our next trip this way.

Great host, beautiful home close to everything. Swam at the lake and walked to the park. Only took 12min to get to downtown convention center. The house was so beautiful. The shower was lovely and large tubs! Adorable backyard retreat.

Nick has a perfect spot for a quick stay before a flight out of SeaTac. Easy peasy!

The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

The place was perfect for our vacation stay in Seattle! Excellent central location for walking to the most commonly visited tourist spots. We took full advantage of the courtyard and gym. My son said he slept "way better" on the pull-out sofa than he did in our earlier hotel stay. The place was clean and comfortable. Being met and provided instructions at check-in was helpful and checkout was a breeze.

Ian's place was great. We enjoyed spending our evenings with family after the days adventure. The pool house and outside patio are amazing we all really enjoyed it. The house has anything you need and communication with Ian was prompt and easy. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Gayle was very quick to respond. Her condo is in a secure building. It was spotless. Great location - walkable to all attractions. She let us drop off our luggage prior to check in ( we were coming straight from Alaska Cruise). She called us as soon as the unit was clean and told us we could return. I would stay at Gayles Place again.

Second stay here, will continue to be my go to place when staying in Woodinville area.

I had a great stay! The room was very clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was excellent — it was quiet and comfortable throughout. The location is also super convenient, with easy access to both downtown Bellevue and Seattle, whether by car or ride-share. The only small issue was that the front door handle came off at one point, but fortunately it was resolved in the end. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back next time!

It's a great place to live and enjoy Seattle! I lived in many Airbnb places in Seattle, and it is one of the best places in Seattle, I would say.
