The Gera bike path leads directly along the house. Business travelers will find quiet and relaxing nights as well as free parking.

Our apartment is located 800 m above sea level and about 14 km from the center of Saalfeld. If you are looking for peace and time to rest and relax, you have come to the right place. When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. Welcome in the Thuringian Forest 🌲 our lovingly furnished bungalow offers everything your heart desires for nature lovers. Our property is located in the middle of nature on the outskirts of Dittrichshütte, a village at an altitude of 600 meters. It is very quiet with us as the road is hardly used. The accommodation is a great starting point for hikes and sporty mountain biking or motorcycle tours.
