Holiday rentals with beach access in Upper Bavaria

You will find no better host than Rosa, and her place is better than described…a beautiful large room with a great view of the Isar out of the window, across the street. The general location is fantastic, out of the tourist mêlée but still very close to the Altstadt & Englisher Garten. Good local restaurants (of a variety of cuisines, both local & international) within a block or two, and plenty of local transportation stops also within blocks to access all of Bavaria easily. Have no reservations about this place, just make your reservation!

Assistance was available at all hours of the day. Maria and her husband were very friendly and offered various options to maximize the experience, such as bicycles, kayaking, and more. They were incredibly helpful in paying a parking fine from one of the shopping centers and a speeding ticket from one of the trips. They took it upon themselves to explain the language, write to the police, fill out the forms, and ultimately even make the payment on the website. It was very pleasant to communicate with them. I extended my stay at the place with my partner several times, and whenever I'm in the area, I would be happy to return to this location

The host is very accommodating. Good recommendations for activities and restaurant. Always responsive and very helpful. The apartment corresponded to the description and pictures. We can recommend the accommodation, we stayed in the apartment with 2 adults and 3 children for a week in October.

We enjoyed the apartment very much. Beautiful balcony. Red light in the shower has been a pleasant surprise. Very nice landlady, communication was straightforward and very friendly. The beds were very comfortable and there was a lot of storage space for the clothes and everything else. Despite the attic, the temperatures were pleasant. Highly recommended!

We had a great week right on the lake. We also often used the swimming pool in the house despite the good weather. Great accommodation and many excursion possibilities in the area.

Loved the place. We didn’t have a car so we needed to get transportation to and from the town but the taxi service was good.

We had a wonderful 6 days at the Fisherman’s House at the Ammersee. The house was so comfortable and welcoming, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bedrooms were cozy. All amenities were there and functioning well, including washer and dryer. Marco and the team of the Strandhotel were excellent hosts, always helpful and very friendly. Location is excellent in quiet neighborhood with short walk to the lake and is a great starting point for trips to the “Voralpenland” and to Munich. One of the best Airbnbs we have ever been to. Strongly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

Cornelia was an excellent host. She met with us upon check in to explain all of the intricacies of the home, she was kind and so easy to work with. It was close to shops, bakeries, restaurants and grocery stores. We absolutely recommend her home and would stay here again!

We stayed 5 days with Angela and Alex and had a very nice stay in the beautiful old farmhouse. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, we felt at home. The kitchen is very well equipped, we slept well and we could enjoy the beautiful large garden. We can therefore highly recommend the accommodation and would be happy to come again

We stayed with a group of friends for a few days – and it was just great! The entire house was very clean, lovingly decorated and has a very special atmosphere with its unique wooden flair. The location directly on the water is fantastic and offers many opportunities for activities and excursions. A real highlight was the stiltsauna – an experience we will not soon forget! The host Michael was super friendly, very helpful and communication in advance as well as on site went absolutely smoothly. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. I was with my two sons for a few days in the Gsteigstr. holiday home. Just like me, the two of them were immediately totally enthusiastic. The excellent location was simply fantastic. The furnishings of the house corresponded exactly to the description on the Internet. I'm sure we'll be back!

The apartment in the basement is very nice and tastefully furnished. The sun shines into the kitchen in the morning. Beautiful old garden with huge trees. The house is just as beautiful as the photos! However, it is two stations with the Oberlandbahn to Dießen or an hour's walk. Riederau is a wonderful starting point for bike tours.

We stayed at Martin‘s apartment with our two small children. The apartment was very clean, quiet, with plenty of space, and with everything we needed to feel at home. We really valued that the lake was so close and that we could even get to a hiking path that was good for children just behind the house (Lainbach Falls). Martin is very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend.

Had a great time staying at Iryna‘s place! She was very friendly, responsive, and flexible. The apartment is right by the water and walking distance to Rottach-Egern and Tegernsee. It was clean and met our expectations. Until next time!

Family vacation at Pentecost. It was a very warm but also informative reception about the possibilities around the Tegernsee by the hosts. During the apartment handover, individual interests were advised. The apartment was clean and corresponded to the advertisement, the equipment was suitable. It is bright and well cut, especially the large wrap-around terrace invites you to linger. Starting with breakfast, you can enjoy the sun in the fresh air until it sets in the late evening in the direction of the lake. In bad weather, this would also be possible from the inside through the large panoramic windows. Somewhat hidden, directly opposite the apartment, there is the possibility of swimming in the lake. There are no sunbathing areas nearby, but you can sunbathe on the loungers on the terrace. In St. Quirin itself, "nothing" is happening. However, the center of Tegernsee can be reached in 10 minutes by car, alternatively by bike or 30-45 minutes on foot. We will be happy to come back.

The accommodation is very suitable for a large group. Beautifully located directly on the lake and well equipped. Plenty of seating inside and out. Communication with the host was very good.

Always happy to come back! We enjoyed our stay at Antonia's place. The space was cozy and spacious. Antonia had great amenities ready for our child. The welcome was very warm, we were even welcomed with homemade cake. The location is top, a short walk away (with playground on the way) is the boat dock.

Very nice apartment overlooking the lake. Parking available. In the kitchen, kitchen utensils had everything you need. Village shop and village cafe can be reached in 2 minutes on foot. Has now reopened with new owners. We would come back anytime.
