Holiday rentals with lake access in Upper Bavaria

Very clean and well equipped. The landlords are very friendly and accommodating.

We had a wonderful 6 days at the Fisherman’s House at the Ammersee. The house was so comfortable and welcoming, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bedrooms were cozy. All amenities were there and functioning well, including washer and dryer. Marco and the team of the Strandhotel were excellent hosts, always helpful and very friendly. Location is excellent in quiet neighborhood with short walk to the lake and is a great starting point for trips to the “Voralpenland” and to Munich. One of the best Airbnbs we have ever been to. Strongly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

Cornelia was an excellent host. She met with us upon check in to explain all of the intricacies of the home, she was kind and so easy to work with. It was close to shops, bakeries, restaurants and grocery stores. We absolutely recommend her home and would stay here again!

Her place was great and it accommodated 5 Adults and 3 children very well! We were extremely pleased!

The house is charming and thoughtfully arranged, with so much care in every detail. The surrounding nature is pure serenity — birdsong, stillness, and the lake just a short walk away. It’s a perfect place to rest, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the moment. A very special thank you to Sarah and Thomas, who were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. What a beautiful home in a stunning location. The home has 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is also a large living/dining area and a well equipped kitchen. There is a cellar downstairs with washing machine. There is a separate outdoor eating area with BBQ. The garden overlooks the lake and the house has beautiful views. There are some lovely walking trails at the back of the house which are worth exploring. The home was very clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. A real home from home. The location is fantastic, close to the lake and within walking distance of the Seehaus restaurant on the lake and local shops and amenities. Communication with Alison and Robert was good throughout and they were able to give us some information about local events. A lovely stay and if we come back to the area we would definitely book again. Highly recommended.

Had a great week-long stay at Annika's place in Wessling. Very clean, functional, nicely decorated, and no problem for three adults. As advertised. S-bahn several minutes' walk away (approx. 30 minutes to Muenchen Hauptbahnhof on the S8). Grocery right around the corner. Bakery down the street. Couple nice restaurants as well. Lovely cafe right across the street on the water. Great imbiss/stube nearby on the water. Overall, great location and place to stay. Again, easy trip into the city, yet very peaceful out in the Bavarian countryside. Hosts were very responsive. Highly recommended. This home was perfect for our 5-day stay for 4 adults. Waterfront , mountain view at the beach , clean home, modern. Beds were very comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants , ice cream shop, cafes, grocery and train. Free parking a bonus, easy instructions. Mario provided ideas for things to do. He checked in by message mid-week to see how things were. Water at beach refreshing!! We would gladly stay again!! 🇨🇦😊

The apartment is chic, modern and very thoughtfully furnished. In the kitchen there was everything you need for cooking. Due to the good location, you could easily explore nearby villages and then relax wonderfully in the cozy apartment. The flyers and travel guides provided for daily planning were particularly helpful. Even with questions, they helped quickly and kindly – the hosts were really warm and committed.

Hassle-free, nice contact and friendly welcome by the family running the long-established pottery with the beautiful workshop. Beautiful views over the lake and the mountains to the east. In summer, a plus is certainly your own "mole" not a minute away with deckchair and parasol. Frauenchiemsee is fast walking, but if you are there for a few more days, still attractive again and again, as well as Herrenchiemsee next door, where we have been several times away from the "tourist must". Everything you need is pleasantly available. Apartment in the old house (18th century?) logically somewhat clairaudient despite modernization, therefore plausibly more peace and quiet between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. But that doesn't bother anyone on this so quiet birdsong island. Gladly again and thank you !

Very tastefully furnished apartment, high-quality renovated old farmhouse. We felt very comfortable.

The house is very beautiful, clean and tidy, and comfortable to live in.The host is generous, warm, and very friendly.

Nicci's apartment is beautiful, very clean and looks like the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped. We felt right at home. Nicci as a host is great, very accommodating and helpful. The welcome package in the fridge was very tasty. The apartment is within walking distance of shops for everyday needs, it is also not far into the heart of Tegernsee. The parking in the underground car park is very good. The view from the balcony is fantastic. The location of the apartment on the street did not bother us at all, as the windows are super insulated and you have not heard anything. The bedroom goes out the back, we slept fantastically, as the bed was also super comfortable. If you want to enjoy a relaxing holiday on Lake Tegernsee, Nicci is in the right hands.

We spent a few wonderful days with our extended family in these two apartments. The house is very tasteful and high-quality furnished – you can immediately tell that a lot of value was placed on quality and style here. The apartment was clean, well equipped and offered enough space for everyone. We were delighted by the quiet, idyllic location, with many excursion destinations easily accessible by bike or car. The contact with the hosts was friendly and straightforward. We would come back anytime!

We were incredibly warmly welcomed!Sabine has a truly beautiful house right on the lake with its own jetty to linger and easy access to the lake! The house tells its own story, historically and lovingly restored! Everything was as described, the rooms are cozy, wonderfully comfortable beds, everything is tip-top clean and a view of the lake as it could not be more beautiful!Lake view from the room and balcony! Diana’s place was perfect for us. It’s very well-equipped and private. The beds are comfortable, and it was great to have meals on the terrace. Diana was very responsive and helped us with every question we had .
