A wonderful location for visiting parts of the wall. Comfortable, clean, spacious accommodation …could easily stay for longer. A very relaxing space after long days walking. Brilliant for the dog too.

A great stay for a quick weekend stay for an ultramarathon. Easy and flexible check in. Janet was amenable with a slightly late check out after spending all day running an ultramarathon and only getting to bed at 2am. Peaceful place ☺️ would definitely stay again if we were up in that area again!

Another wonderful stay at Low Nook Cottage. This was a return visit and the place was as relaxing and welcoming as ever . Beautiful scenery and walks in the area. Lorraine was a wonderful host and we can’t wait to return again next year.

We had a lovely few nights at this peaceful well equipped cottage. The location is perfect for visiting Hadrian’s wall and Roman ruins in the area. Walks to sites are almost on your doorstep. The cottage was comfortable and warm and had all that we needed. Would recommend
