The Depot B & B: A Peaceful Retreat

Just minutes from campus, downtown, and the airport, The Depot is a historic home attached to 5 wooded acres, a lake, and a "big sky" view across the prairie for watching sunsets and night skies. Originally a train depot constructed in 1857, it has been fully modernized for contemporary living. However, we have taken great effort to preserve its rustic charms that Abraham Lincoln would have known during his circuit riding days before the Civil War. These include graffiti from 1917.

The lighted screened porch and open deck sit above the west creek near the banks of the Middlefork River -- enjoy nature at its midwestern best. Just 2 miles from the University of Illinois campus, 10 minutes away from downtown champaign, and a short walk away from multiple parks. Designed for entertaining with an open concept living area, 70" tv, and a saltwater pool out back. Access to many games, bags set, and bbq grill out back. Pool will be open Memorial day to Labor day. House also has an electric car charger free to use.

This full property is just off the interstate, in a small neighborhood surrounded by mature trees. North Prospect and Marketplace mall restaurants and shopping destinations are less than 1 mile away. The University of Illinois and Carle Hospital are about 10 miles from the rental property. This is a pet friendly Airbnb, with no additional charge for pets and up to 6 guests. High-speed Wifi is provided by Xfinity with 4 TVs, each with guest mode Roku.

There is a king bed in master and queen bed in the guest room with extra pillows/blankets and the bathrooms are well stock.

This 1 bedroom apartment has accomodations for 2 guests. There is a private, outside entrance and 1GB WiFi. It's a no frills space that we have recently updated with new kitchen appliances + an updated bathroom. We ask all of our guests who stay to be respectful of noise as it travels downstairs easily. The entire house can be rented as a full 3 bedroom home with accomodations for 7 guests.
