Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Utica

Wonderful home with all accommodations you could ever need. Great location with all local needs/conveniences near by. It was the perfect central hub for our daughter’s wedding (which was right next door)! Would recommend this house and hosts to anyone looking to stay in the Vernon area!

The house is exactly like the photos. Good parking at the back and you enter through the back door. The host texts you the code for 3pm check-in. Once inside the house is even more amazing! Gorgeous decor and many places for everyone to feel comfortable. Everything you need is there. Each room has an ensuite bathroom. The host was very helpful, friendly and replied quickly. We absolutely loved the house. Everything was very comfortable. We relaxed in every room. Dean was very responsive with questions. We enjoyed being able to spend the day in a nice uncluttered pool area. The house was very clean and uncluttered with space for our bags in the rooms and we weren’t tripping over them. Plenty of space for six adults and a small dog to relax in the same rooms without being on top of each other. The best air b&b we have ever stayed in.

I’m so happy that we found this farmhouse in the country. Conveniently located with a beautiful setting . We were even given fresh farm eggs. I wish we were able to do more hiking, but the weather was not in our favor. Best of all we could bring our fur baby with us . If I was coming up to this area again, I would be more than happy to stay there again. The House was extremely clean. It’s a farmhouse so yes, I had to get rid of a few wasps but that’s expected.

Great little place for a weekend stay! Spotless. Water in the fridge was a plus! Had all toilettries a hotel would have. Extremely comfy bed and pillows. Highly recommend for anyone needing a place to stay in the area!

Great place to stay. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. My only note, and this is nothing against the host, but the neighborhood was not really quiet. Some really loud kids yelling, screaming, ect around. Not a big deal really for us, but if you need some quiet during the day its something to note.

Amazing place to stay. Just as described. Michael was very responsive to messages and reached out to make sure everything was as expected. Bedrooms were full of extra blankets and pillows. Barhrooms were spotless and full of towels, soap, shampoo. Kitchen had everything you could need. During with coffee and to go cups. Very well decorated. would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Had a great quick stay at David’s cozy spot. Very well stocked with coffee bagels milk yogurt the whole 9. Felt very taken care of. Nice green space on the proper too so you can sit and enjoy the breeze. Location was walkable to some of Romes sights and maybe 10-15 walk to restaurants. Very nice area and I would stay again!

Our stay was so relaxing, very quiet and peaceful! A comfortable place to lay our heads after our busy days. Our hosts were very pleasant and hospitable. We enjoyed our stay immensely! Thanks Tim and Juliana

Super clean and great for 4 people. We were able to walk to a few restaurants, a 10 min drive to downtown. We were comfortable staying in Luisa’s place. She was fast with responses to our requests.

Even though we only stayed for one night, I could’ve spent a significant amount of time at this quaint little apartment! Very well stocked, comfortable bedding, would recommend and stay again.

The apartment was clean and looked exactly like the photos. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

Highly recommended. Even nicer than the photos. Very comfortable and spacious apartment—with lots of nice personal touches, including linen bedding, bath robes, numerous books and candles. Loved the short walk to the Clinton Village. I will really miss Utica coffee:). We were in town to attend our son’s graduation from Colgate University and the drive to/from was easy. Although close to Utica, the town and apartment has a very nice rural vibe. Our hosts were proactive and responsive! Thanks so much for giving us the icing on the cake to the adventure.

Great location. I was in town to attend my granddaughter’s Christening. Took in the casino as well. Enjoyable stay.

I didn't realize that you had to bring your own linen. Sara was nice enough to include it with our stay. Very nice thing to do

We soent a couple days here and it was perfect for us. Easy to get to. Very clean and the neighborhood was nice to walk around and explore. Taste of Syracuse was an extra treat that was close by.

We had a great stay! The space was quaint but super cozy and comfortable—just what we needed. I especially loved the skylights; they brought in such beautiful natural light during the day. The shower was great, and even though there wasn’t a full kitchen, it was awesome that the host provided plenty of cooking amenities—it made it easy to prep meals and feel right at home. Check-in was super easy, and the host was incredibly easygoing, respectful, and welcoming. The place was spotless and in a super convenient location—walkably close to Varick Street, Utica’s most poppin' bar scene (huge bonus if you’re looking for a fun night out!). It would’ve been nice to have a smart TV, but the WiFi was strong, so we were able to stream from a laptop with no issues. All in all, a peaceful, comfortable stay—we’d definitely come back!

The only downfall of this place was the noise from the bars down below.

Comfortable space in great neighborhood. I arrived late at night and it was a bit stressful to find the door hidden in a little walkway but after that very easy to get in. The condo was nicely laid out and the location was fun- walkable restaurants and museums. Bathroom sink was clogged but it really didn’t bother me too much. Nice big washer and dryer and air conditioning to make the space very comfortable. It is on the street above lively bar scene but was pretty quiet inside.

Casa Lago (upper) is the place to be! My family and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay as it was colorful, clean, and spacious . The decor adds that extra happiness of being at the beach. Location is key, and Casa Lago is in a prime spot within walking distance to all the fun Sylvan Beach has to offer! The view of the lake from the deck is spectacular! We enjoyed the music from Harpoon Eddies (next door) each evening on the deck. Codey was a great host! He responded to any questions we had in stellar time, and he made sure we had everything we needed. We have been visiting Sylvan Beach for 30+ years, and staying at Casa Lago just made it all the more special this year!
