Beautiful cabin in the mountains on the way into Wrangell-St. Elias NP. Hosts were so helpful to work with us on our late arrival!

We had a great stay while we spent a few days exploring McCarthy and Kennecott areas. It’s a beautiful location and super convenient if visiting McCarthy.

What a fantastic location! We stayed in the Gilahina, and it was perfect. Loved the deck. It was great to have a grill, and a full sized fridge. (Never seen a propane powered refrigerator before, but they’re probably not that uncommon here.) The ride in from Chitna is is quite an adventure. You really don’t realize how long 60 miles takes when you’re averaging 25 miles per hour! Plan for 2 hours. From the office you can rent spikes to attach to your shoes which are fantastic for trekking out onto the glacier. The property is wonderful, our cabin was clean and extremely comfortable. I couldn’t recommend the property, the proprietors or the location more. All were superb!

Great location in Valdez. Drove off the ferry from Whittier and was there in less than 5 minutes. Very clean and tidy house. Nice to see the birds on the windowsill in the morning

Great stay! The place is well maintained and very clean. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen was well appointed with everything you’d need to make a meal. Very close to Main Street.

Absolutely adored our cabin at Currant Ridge. It was a lovely place to stay and enjoy Wrangell-St. Elias NP and McCarthy.

Only a mile from my daughter’s family and home. It was warm, comfortable and beautifully rustic. My daughter even set up a Christmas tree for us to enjoy. We had the whole house and loved the privacy. Can’t reflect on sharing common spaces but the house was certainly amenable to easy sharing. Each bedroom had its own bath and was totally private. View was spectacular.

Valerie’s place was incredible and cozy. A quiet and peaceful getaway in the valley. The outside space was incredible and the house was cozy and clean with thoughtful touches and amenities. Would 💯 out of 10 recommend and will certainly be back.

Beautiful views over the Matanuska glacier/river. Nice quiet area tucked above the hwy. Can hear the river flowing from the back deck. No cell service for Verizon but not sure about AT&T since there is a tower a mile away. Would stay here again and recommend someone looking for a remote get away not far off the main road

Very nice, quiet, and peaceful place. The owner communicated well, very pleasant, and keeps it up very well. I recommend it to anyone. 4 Stars for sure 👍

It was a fantastic experience with my friends. Great location, great space, great communication. We experienced wonderful things that the great Alaska offers.

Ronald runs a fantastic inn in a remote corner of Alaska. Fantastic service even though we needed a really late check-in after travel delays! The premises is very peaceful and free of ruckus after hours and the accommodations (thought admittedly rustic) were well maintained and functioned perfectly. Great place to stay, quite a few rooms available to rent not just the large bunkhouse!

We did enjoy our staying with Katie's place, it's clean and very comfortable. The place is very nice and close to all of shopping and activities. the whole place is worth what we paid. staying here do enrich our vacation. Strongly recommend!

What a truly unique experience! My family and I loved our stay at the Yurt:) Margie was a wonderful host. Very attentive and friendly! Would 100% recommend staying here and enjoying everything Palmer, AK has to offer!

We loved the “Public Library”! The loft is unique and it was fun to climb up to it. Alyssa was so kind and pre-heated the cabin before our arrival, it was wonderfully toasty. We enjoyed reading the books offered until late into the night as service was a little slow with AT&T. There were enough amenities to boil water and make oatmeal in the morning. This is the perfect quirky overnight airbnb, highly recommend!

Mark was very helpful and had quick responses. The process for check in and out was very easy and quick.

Mark is the best! He owns the cabins, operates the restaurants and flies the helicopter tours too! Room is clean and enough space for 5 of us. Multiples trails right behind the cabins to explore on your own. He even lends us free bear spray. But the best part is the restaurant next door -- the food is amazing! We had two dinners and one breakfast there and they were so tasty. This place is a gem in glacier view, highly recommend it.

Loved this cabin! Very charming and clean. We stayed the night with the dogs & they loved it as much as we did! Beautiful views and easy to get to. Gorgeous place & would happily stay again!

It was a beautiful place to stay and in the morning we saw sheep on the mountain from our cabin. The private helicopter tour was AMAZING. It was an experience I will never forget. Mark was down to earth and knowledgeable about the area. He took us to spots so we saw all that we wanted to. Highly recommend you splurge for a flight.
