Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Ce mas authentique vous offre une retraite loin du bruit du monde. Réveillez-vous au parfum de la lavande, plongez dans votre piscine chauffée privée avant que le village ne s'éveille. La maison accueille jusqu'à 8 personnes. Le spa détente vous attend en fin de journée, après une escapade dans les vignobles voisins ou un marché provençal. Et quand le soleil commence à décliner, une partie de pétanque s'impose. Idéal pour une famille, un groupe d'amis ou un week-end de célébration.

Un havre de paix sous des platanes centenaires, entourés d’oliviers. Notre gîte " A l'ombre du pin" se trouve dans un mas provençal, le Mas des Platanes. Une grande cour privée plein sud bien ombragée. Un escalier extérieur en pierre mène à la maison. Un espace de vie avec cuisine, salon, 3 chambres. Une salle de bains avec double vasque, baignoire, douche, wc et sauna et wc dans la cour. A partager: grande piscine chauffée de mai à septembre, buanderie, espace de jeux et parking.

Pretty House + pool in a Provençal village

Authentic house in the heart of a medieval Provencal village A very pretty stone village house with terraces, swimming pool and spectacular views, located at the very top of the medieval Provencal village of Crestet. The house has views of the Ventoux, The house is self-contained but it can also be rented with a neighboring house with 4 extra beds. The swimming pool (open from 1 June to the end of September) is under the village 5 min walk with a beautiful view.

In Drôme Provençale, next to Grignan, between vineyards and lavender, our cottage is the only one on the property. It is located upstairs, for four adults, adjoining the owners' farmhouse. 48 m2 living room, with fully equipped open kitchen, relaxation area with 127 cm TV, air conditioning. 35 m2 master suite with walk-in shower, double sinks, separate toilet, air conditioning. 30 m2 mezzanine. Both beds are 160 X 200. Private terrace with Weber barbecue.

Former agricultural building, this 75 m2 house has been completely renovated after 3 years of work (end of work July 2021) This renovation was done with great care, for a premium service. In each of the rooms the view is striking, charming or even aerial… It is a real little eagle's nest that dominates the village… but with your feet in the water… The Roanne River and its natural pools are a 5-minute walk away.
