My boyfriend and I stayed at the property for 5 days and were very please with our stay. The apartment is on the first floor of a beautiful modern house. The apartment was very well equipped, there was nothing missing. Highlighted is the beautiful terrace with Jacuzzi. The location is great. It is about a 15-minute drive to the center of Chania. Several beaches are within walking distance. The house itself is quietly located. It offers a good starting point for exploring Crete. Katerina and her husband are great hosts. Upon arrival, a fresh Greek salad, oranges and wine awaited us. We got fresh vegetables from the garden a few days later. Katerina was always available and very friendly. We felt very comfortable. Overall we would recommend the accommodation! 5/5 stars!

We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation home. The location is quiet and offers a great view of the sea – perfect for unwinding. The house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The landlords were friendly and helpful and made the stay pleasant. All in all, a nice house for a relaxing beach vacation.

Four of us, two couples, spent a very enjoyable week at Roula's stone cottage. A special and stunning location and suspect a rare opportunity to spend time in a traditional style house in a rural cretan mountain village. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. May be better suited to a family stay as the downstairs room has no separate access to bathroom. We enjoyed the peaceful location immensely- great to getup and have breakfast outside with the fresh air and distant sound of goat bells. We travelled to Chania or the beaches along the coast every day and certainly didn't find the village too remote to do so. Nearby Tavernas and gorge walk are a must. Roula, along with her mother, were always quick, helpful and generous when questions were asked and supplied us with eggs and oranges and some home cooked food. Surely one of the best hosts I've experienced on airbnb. Would gladly return.

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We arrived quite late and were pleasantly surprised to find a cold bottle of wine waiting for us and all the amenities for us to have a late supper. The location was very charming close to the historic district of Chania and the story behind Hestia House added to our stay. Great location for walking and the nearby beaches were a stone throw away. The bedroom and bathroom were very bright and comfortable. If we return to Crete, Hestia House will certainly be our number one choice.

Stayed here from June 9 - June 13, our reservation was for two people. Mano was very kind and accommodating to us. We took a ferry to Heraklion, rented a car, and drove to the Airbnb. No trouble finding it, and having a private parking space in this location is a HUGE plus! Chania parking and driving is very chaotic. Airbnb was very generously stocked with espresso pods, Ouzo, items from the hosts bakery (the banana bread was incredible), a bottle of water, and more. Everything we needed! Excellent local recommendations and a super market within a short walk. Everything worked perfectly and was very clean too! Would 100% recommend and stay here again!

We had a great time at Georgios’s place at the garden of Zephyrus. The location was absolutely perfect surrounded by nature with incredible views in every direction. We did a lot of hiking nearby and it was a short drive to beautiful beaches. The apartment was comfortable and welcoming, and I left feeling refreshed and inspired. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and explore the outdoors! Georgios is fantastic host.

The pictures don't do the unit justice! Beautiful home with stunning views of the old port. Everything is walkable, and this is a great place to people watch. Lot's of stairs in the multi-level unit so beware. Beds for 6, and they're comfortable! Host is awesome, and very communicative. No parking at the unit but street parking can be had a couple of blocks away. I'd definitely return!

Maria is a fantastic host. She met my husband and me at the bus stop and showed us around the apartment and neighborhood, giving us recommendations for dining and things to do. Her apartment is located in the heart of Old Town just steps away from the waterfront, great restaurants (we especially loved Tamam), and shopping. She stocked the apartment with everything we'd need for our visit, including beach towels, breakfast items, candy, guidebooks, and more. The apartment itself is cozy and comfortable in a charming building. Despite a decent amount of foot traffic nearby, it was quiet at night. We had the best sleep of our 10-day trip to Greece during our three-night stay. I can't recommend Maria's place enough for a visit to Chania!

great place with good outdoor patio where you have great views over the valley and neighborhood below and sunset to the west. Close to great beaches down the hill and a few minutes walk to smaller and bigger shops

We had a wonderful stay at Sifi’s. He is easy going, responsive and provided great recommendations. The apartment is beautiful, modern and we felt very comfortable with our stay. Sadly our visit was short since there are plenty to see and do that we didn’t get to do but I would book this place again if we come back.

Everything was great, the apartment was clean and we had everything we needed. The area is full of restaurants and things to do and although it is very animated, the apartment is located on a quiet street. Nasos was great!

We had an amazing time at Giorgos' place. Unbeatable location by the beach, wonderful accommodation with everything we needed and more, as well as very kind and considerate treatment from Giorgos and his wife. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay here in Chania! Perfect location a bit outside main areas of the city (but walking distance to get there) and steps from the beach. Easy parking. Super friendly host!!

Can’t thank Theo amd Parthenia enough for all their help recommendations and flexibility . The apartment is very well equipped , really felt at home . Incredible views , despite being above all the restaurants , the rooms are well sound proofed and there was no noise at all .. Will definitely be back to visit again .. had a wonderful stay and holiday ❤️

We stayed week here and we would recommend this to anyone who wants to explore chania by walking or renting a car. Not loud at night so easy to sleep. Only short walk to shops and restaurants. Free parking area with many spots usually available only short walking distance from the house. The streets around the house were allmost allways full of cars. Working A/C in all rooms. Nice backyard for relaxing morning coffees. All the rooms look like in the pictures. Recommended!

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

It was super nice here. We were warmly welcomed and communication went smoothly. The place is as pictured. You're a bit up the mountain, which is super nice because it's much quieter there. The city and the beach are within walking distance. We were very satisfied.

The apartment is very cozy, in a quiet area, close to the center and at the exit to the main road if you want to visit other cities in Crete. There is a free bus to the center in the area, so it is worth using it, because it is difficult to find parking lots in the city. Eleftheria made sure that tourists feel good here, well-equipped kitchen and necessary things in the bathroom. The apartment is exactly as described in the picture, check-in went smoothly, instructions easy to follow , host very responsive . Thank you Eleftheria for allowing us to stay in your apartment and feel like home away from home. We recommend this place to everyone who wants to have a good experience in Chania.

Room was clean, modern, simple and comfortable with everything a person needs.

This place was amazing. A little sanctuary in a fabulous location: walk to the right and you are in the Old City, walk to the left and you are at the beach. Enjoyed the balcony with a quaint view of a garden, trees and the coffee maker. Truly had everything I needed for a great stay and the host was amazing as well. There are lockers to leave luggage before or after check in/out.

This was a fantastic stay! Location is perfect - easily walkable but also very quiet. Amenities are top notch - you feel like you're in a very modern home. The recommendations provided were local and we loved every single one of them. The owners are very caring and responsive. They responded to any questions or issues we had very fast, checked in with us, and you can tell how much they care about their guests. I highly recommend this place! It is probably one of the best serviced Airbnbs I've ever been in!

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

Amazing stay in Chania at Nikos and Maria’s home. The apartment looks just like the photos with everything you could need. 23 minute walk to the city centre was perfect for us as a young couple and there’s always parking available. Massive balcony as well which is a nice addition. Overall lovely place and even nicer host who was always on hand to help out with local recommendations and info. Would stay here again.
