Explore the wonderful west coast, then retreat to the outdoor shower, sauna or Japanese Ofuro tub to wind down your day. A short intermediate private trail will take you down to the beach. The 560 square foot cabin is set back on the property, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Juan de Fuca Straight. This cozy and ultra comfortable beach house is within day-trip distance to all Vancouver Island has to offer. It provides an intimate, restful, and well-furnished retreat for two people in the loft overlooking the beach, with an additional sofa-bed in the common space. Wildlife, stars, and unbelievable moonrises and sunrises!

Pender Harbour Rainforest Retreat

We offer 1165 sqft of air-conditioned space – two queen bedrooms with crisp linens, one beautiful bathroom with tub and walk-in shower, and plenty of space to relax. Modern washer, dryer, fridge, cooker and dishwasher. You’ll have a private covered deck with outdoor seating and dining areas, as well as use of a 6-person hot tub. There are kayaks and a canoe you can use, tide permitting. 50 amp fast EV charger, RV charger.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
