Fotö belongs to Öckerö Municipality consisting of ten islands, with proximity to the sea as a matter of course. From Fotö, you can reach the other nine islands, either by bridge or ferry. You also have proximity to grocery store, shopping, restaurants about 3 km from Fotö.

If it gets too quiet, Gothenburg is only 20 minutes away by car or you can take the bus that takes 5 minutes to walk to. Mölnlycke city center is 5 km away. Att få bli ett med naturen i en magisk omgivning är något speciellt. Här kan ni slappna av och bara njuta! Till byggnaden hör även en terrass med bord & stolar. Byggnad uppfördes 2023 där byggmaterial är närproducerat, möbler & elektronik är återbrukade för att få ett så litet klimatavtryck som möjligt. The bathroom and toilet are located 30 meters away from the cottage in the basement of the main building. Enjoy morning coffee by the lake, take a dip in the clear water, go fishing or explore the beautiful surroundings.

The cottage is 4 km outside Sjötorp and 10 km outside Lyrestad. There is a possibility to get there by bicycle. Göta Canal runs through both communities where there are also cafés, grocery stores, restaurants, swimming areas and museums In the pictures, you can also see the nice Sjötorp, which is 10 minutes away by bike. A perfect cabin for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts or for those who are on the road. There are also bicycles for rent.

Cottage 150 meters from Vänern

The cottage is in a quiet and scenic area 10 km from beautiful Lidköping. Down by the beach, 150 meters from the cottage, there is a public jetty from which you can sunbathe and swim. Right next to the cottage is a forest with nice walking paths, where you can pick berries and mushrooms when the season is in. Outdoor furniture and a grill are available from where you can eat with lake views.
