Holiday rentals with lake access in Vänern

A slice of Swedish forest paradise. Such a lovely space with beautiful and thoughtful touches, an extremely helpful guide to the area and even tips for lighting a fire! The sauna is amazing too. You won’t regret a stay here! Five stars is not enough.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the size, furnishing style and cleanliness of the place. From the beginning, we felt comfortable. We were just passing through, but can also imagine a multi-day stay.

Hospitable and friendly hosts. Good communication. Cozy house in quiet surroundings along the Gøta Canal bike route. Took the opportunity to look at the property's jetty. Incredibly great place. Recommended.

We spent a few days here on our trip to Sweden. My husband had to work and I had time to explore the area around and in Örebro with our 6-month-old son. The accommodation was really in a Bullerbü. Incredibly beautiful and cozy. By car it was only 10 minutes to the city. The accommodation is therefore the perfect mix of rural tranquility and city. We would love to come back!

A home and view that immediately inspires a lot of enthusiasm. The space, the tranquility, beautiful house and really beautiful views, make it an ideal holiday place! In addition, if you love nature, you will be fully satisfied. Nice to be able to use the canoes! It was a top week at a top location.

The house was large, with two lovely large bathrooms and good beds/mattresses. The kitchen was well equipped and with a good fireplace. The house is located with a beautiful view of a water and you see an old church at the end of the water. Lovely beautiful, peaceful and harmonious view. Nice hiking opportunities in the woods right on the other side of the road. Very nice little hike through the forest with irr green moss, and a lovely view of water, forest and sky at the top. If we had more time, we should have walked more along possibly around the water and looked at the cute Swedish living rooms and farms around the water. Clean and tidy, cozy apartment with plenty of space at the top of an old wooden house. Nice reception and assistance from a friendly host. Really central location, in the middle of the square and in the middle of the city pulse with the possibility to find peace in the backyard with beach to Vättern.

We had some lovely days in Vadstena! The apartment was like stepping into a nice hotel room, in a perfect location! Very close to Lake Vättern and yet central. We can highly recommend this property! Regards, Maud & Henrik

The residence is quietly surrounded by nature. You get a lot of facilities to make you feel at home. The only thing missing was a living room. It was all taken care of and neat upon arrival except for a few light dust spots. Very pleasant, especially for our transit. Thank you Linnea & Johan!

Cozy little apartment with the amenities we could wish for, the amazing view is really the icing on the cake Per-Anders is a great host, quick responses, and great communication.

We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The place has everything you need, and the cozy setup makes you feel right at home. It’s great for cooking, too. The host was super friendly and spoke good English. Totally recommend the jetty right on Lake Värmeln!

The accommodation is perfect - quiet, tranquil, private. The location is great: in 20 minutes you are in Karlstadt. Johan and Sandra were very friendly and helpful, gave good tips for Karlstad. And: the sauna was a treat! We intend to return next year. Many thanks to Johann and Sandra.

Mattias and Josefin's "stuga" is perfect for a short stay: cozy, well-equipped, spotlessly clean - a place to feel good. The communication was very precise and quick, the check-in very easy and fast. We stayed there for 2 nights. If you want to relax for a day during the trip, you can wander through the forests on the Askerudsberget and enjoy the fabulous view of the Fryken from the Tossebergsklätten.

The cottage is lovely and comfortable The kitchen has everything we needed to cook dinner. We walked to the port which is stunning. And we used the house as a base to drive to the island of Malmön and walk for the day. Everything was perfect.

This was the most beautiful accommodation we‘ve had. Everything was clean, perfectly equipped and we felt really cozy. Also the location is perfect to go for walks or to a close lake. Thank you Björn!

An absolutely charming accommodation high up in the mountains with a wonderful view through the large panoramic window in the living room. Winter garden, terrace with barbecue, garden and directly by the forest with a view of a lake."Heart, what more do you want!?" The beds were freshly made and super comfortable. The clean towels were ready in the bathroom. In the kitchen, there was everything needed on vacation🤩 We will definitely be back!!

We spent 10 days in the beautiful accommodation. The location is fantastic. Two fantastic lakes within throwing distance, which you can explore directly on foot. The house is just incredibly beautiful. Every detail is well thought out, you just feel welcome - everything is prepared as if you are visiting friends. Thanks for that! 🍀

Thank you for a wonderful stay in amazing surroundings. We made stops at the cabin on our way skiing. Super beautiful in the cabin and with winter wonderland and ice on the lake. But we also really wanted to experience it in the summer 😊

Super idyllic and quiet cottage. We were here for a few days with our daughter, she loved playing with the trampoline and the swing. Kristofer was always available and could also help us with a high chair. We can absolutely recommend the cottage.
