Monthly Rentals in Venabygd

This was a wonderful place to stay. An authentically historic home with the beauty of old wood, the original large pine table and working old hearth. Yet it had all the comforts we expect and was spotlessly clean. There were several additional historic buildings on the large working farm. The view from the dining table and either porch is breathtaking. Best for us was Inga’s exceptional friendliness and the invaluable help she gave us in tracking down information on local family heritage. A reminder to bring your own shower toiletries. Exceptional place to stay!

Simply the best place. If your looking for a cottage in the Norwegian countryside look no further. Just come and experience it.

Caroline was a very flexible host, she prepared the house for us even though we booked it in the very last moment. The accomodation was very spacious and cosy and stylish. Even for just one night it felt like home. There was all the basic equipment in the kitchen, but could be slightly improved (we missed a few small things like a potato peeler or a corkscrew). Also the cleaning would be easier with more tools (ash shovel, dustpan and broom). But overall we were more than happy with our stay, the place was beautiful and the host always helpful.
