Luxury accommodation on a working Dartmoor hill farm, sited in a little paddock close to the farmstead, adjacent to the open moorland, with lovely views of Dartmoor & beyond. Hill walking, a gentle stroll, wild swimming & pure relaxation all accessible without having to get into your car. Each hut is fully self contained with a double bed, seating, kitchen area, shower, toilet & a wood burner for those cosy evenings. Outside there will be a fire pit, bbq, seating & star gazing opportunities!!

The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. The Apiary is a converted hayloft sitting at the end of a 16th Century Dartmoor Farmhouse, a short ten-minute walk from Widecombe in the Moor and 200m from the Two Moors Way. With it’s own private parking & entrance, the elegantly furnished room features an eclectic mix of antique furniture and Smeg kitchen appliances. From April to August, wander 50m down the road to a five-acre wildflower meadow with a Dartmoor stream and a collection of wild orchids & swathes of native wildflowers.

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day. Chinkwell is solar powered with a back up generator; you cannot charge electric vehicles. We now have full fibre wifi too which has been a great boost after relying on satellite for years!
