Great stay! Communication with host was perfect. Apartment is big and spacious with everything you need and more. Location is good as well, not too far from the center, ~15min by car. Free private parking right in front of the house as well. Would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay here whilst travelling through Germany So close to the centre of Krefeld and still very peacefull and quiet in the evening. The location of the appartement made it also very easy to get to the highway again quickly in the morning. The appartement, kitchen and bathroom were all very clean, and the space was large enough for 2 people. It was also very convenient to have a kettle and coffeemachine as well. The only downside for us personally is that both the matresses and the sleeping couch were quite hard, so if you prefer a softer matrass like us this might be a bit hard. We had to take 3 stairs to the appartement which didn't bother us but could be usefull to keep in mind. We were thankfull to be able to park the car behind the house at night. Thank you for having us!

It's a really nice apartment. Check-in was smooth and in person. The apartment owner's brother was very nice. There were cold drinks and sweets. The sofa bed was comfortable and it was clean. The only drawback: the Wi-Fi did not work. Since we only tested this at night, we did not make any further contact. We leave early in the morning. A solution would probably have been found.

An older apartment with a special charm, very centrally located and easy to reach. Communication was always fast and friendly. We would like to stay there again!

It was just beautiful! We lacked nothing, and we ended up living there for three months! Once we had no baking paper, I asked if they could help us. What could you and the next day we had a whole pack lying in front of the door. Really attentive. This and many other friendly gestures really made this stay a second home. It is also super child-friendly. What can I say, if we didn't live in the neighborhood, we would definitely come back 😉

A historic place. A farmhouse built on the foundations of a castle. Nevertheless, everything was beautifully remodeled with respect for the past. The yard, the meadows with sheep and fruit trees, the fish ladder in the stream next door also makes it a downright idyllic place. A nice host and hostess made this weekend to remember. Thank you.

Was a fantastic stay! As a few other reviews also indicated, the space was even better than the photos showed. Petra is a very friendly and super attentive host, as well as her partner. There is plenty to do and see in the area if you love nature, and the house itself is also a very nice place to relax. Certainly also recommended with the dog, who could make perfect use of the enclosed garden. Highly recommend!

This beautiful loft furnished with great attention to detail offers everything you need for a short (or longer) stay to feel good. In the light-flooded, stylish spaces, there are many small details to discover: whether inspiring art objects, historical things to the former sword factory or simply loving little things that make the stay more pleasant for the guest (drinks, towels, toothbrushes "for forgetful";)..). You can feel right at home here. This is rounded off by the personal welcome with a small tour of the loft + explanation by the warm host. This is a lovely house, with a very homely feel. All the rooms are large and comfortable, we particularly liked the big kitchen. It also benefits from a pretty garden, which is very secluded and nice to spend time in. Ivan and Hilde are very welcoming and friendly hosts, who have obviously put a lot of thought into making their place perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Had a nice stay in this room. We immediately felt welcome upon arrival, with a nice welcome booklet in the living room and bathroom. There were also drinks in the fridge. Well cared for, and the center is within walking distance. Also nice park/forest nearby for walking.

I absolutely loved to stay here. It was very cozy and just a great place to crash after an eventful day. We did have a lil trouble with the internet on the second day but Julia helped us fix it, even though she was on vacation on her own. She was an absolutely lovely host and I would definitely love to visit again. <3

Lovely, peaceful and clean apartment. Georg was very helpful and let us store our tandem. Good supermarket within walking distance and a lovely walk through the park into Aachen city.
