Farmstay holiday rentals in Vézère

Well equipped and good location. We had a great month by the fire, quiet, surrounded by nature. Close to small towns with activities, supermarkets and 20min from Perigueux About 2 hours from Sarlat and other beautiful sites in the Dordogne. Even though a lot of things are closed in January, we didn't get bored! Easy and pleasant communication with Jacques and his daughter Claire-Helene. Friendly hosts, we recharged ourselves. Comfortable bed too which is a bonus! Thank you for everything

We had a great couple of weeks here. It proved an ideal location from which to explore the Périgord Vert. A very peaceful spot with a secure garden for our dog and walks nearby. The facilities in the cottage were excellent and as described and we really appreciated the bottle of wine and home made cake on arrival. The pool was very relaxing and comfortable and easily warm enough to swim in late May. There is an (excellent) boulangerie in the nearest village which is walkable and supermarkets for provisions in Brantôme. Several nearby towns had markets. Suzy and Steve (and Alfie) were lovely hosts and we fully recommend it. It was exactly what we wanted.

This is the second time we have booked this house. We feel like we're in our family home. We had a great stay and Lucie and her mom are very nice hosts. We obviously plan to return again to discover all the wonders hidden in the Périgord Noir.

We had a lovely stay in Gîte Vertbois. Beautiful setting, very well equipped, and comfortable. Loved seeing the ducks and hens in the garden. Marie was lovely, friendly and helpful. Communication was excellent. Very happy with everything. Thank you Marie

Exceptional!! Everything was absolutely perfect, the place is beautiful and very well decorated. Gilles and Nicole are extremely kind and welcomed us very well to their peaceful haven. We were also able to enjoy the jacuzzi, the heated pool and the small vegetable garden in their garden. The optional breakfast was also delicious. These few days in their cottage were a truly enchanting break.

Very beautiful cottage, which is in the heart of nature. The environment is very quiet. The cottage has a lot of children's amenities which is very nice. Our host is very responsive to messages.

We had a pleasant stay at Géraldine's, the games room is a real plus, our daughter loved it and so did we! Our daughter was delighted with the pony ride and seeing the goats and turkey pigs. We were able to spend a weekend of disconnection and it feels good to be in the nature!

Very nice holiday spent in Jeanie's cottage. Ideally located to shine in the Beynac, Sarlat and Eyzies region. We were able to multiply the tours and enjoy relaxing at the end of the day in the pool. Very clean and quiet accommodation. We loved it. Jeanie responded quickly to all our questions / requests. thank you for everything!

The cabin is beautiful with the jacuzzi, it was great, very quiet and relaxing We were very well received on our arrival, the instructions were clear and precise I recommend

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Thank you for the gift Virginia, it was lovely to meet you 😊

Alison’s and Andre’s jewel in beautiful Dordogne valley is the absolute winner when booking the perfect peaceful place to holiday in France. You can take a walk in nearby village or walk In nearby Forrest. Stargazing at the private pool, visit Limeuil to kayak the river. Or just take a deep breath in peaceful and relaxing nature while getting some tan after a swim in the pool. Alison and Andre are super friendly always happy to chat or check if you are ok. Super hosts. And not to forget the four legged Johnny the dog and two cats. Johnny will definitely steel your heart. If you are lucky like us, Alison and Andre will let you to take him for a walk. After pool, time with Jonny was our daughter second favourite thing!! There are so many great things to do or place to visit. So Looking back at our holiday photos, we were again lucky and we need to say - A bientot belle France and thank you Alison, Andre and Johnny for beautiful memories.

Patricia is a very welcoming host who passionately introduced us to her garden and animals. She shares her know-how through very informative workshops (plants, donkeys, etc.) The tiny house is very nice when you want to recharge your batteries as a family in an eco-lodge close to nature. The pool available is a real plus to cool off and have fun with the kids. The summer kitchen also allows you to cook outside the accommodation and thus expand the living space. We highly recommend this listing!!

Just had the most amazing week here, the pictures really do not do the gardens and views justice!! Such a peaceful setting but with lots of sights and attractions near-by, however a car is essential. The gite had everything we could need to relax, wine and dine in an evening. The pool and view was lovely, just perfect to relax by after a day out exploring. We are already planning we we can return!

Beautiful house, clean and pleasant. 9 km from Sarlat. Very well located for visiting the best sites and villages. A very large enclosed garden for our 4-legged friends or safety for our children, not to mention the small swing. Not to mention the very kind welcome and the delicate attention for our arrival. And very important, good bedding. Don't hesitate.

A wonderful place to stay, surrounded by nature and animals. Very clean and welcoming, and Dominique went over and above to allow us to check in early. Would highly recommend.

The host is very responsive. Description of the house very faithful to the listing. Peaceful and easy to access. The views are beautiful. The house is super cute and nice. It feels like home. Very well-equipped house. The single beds on the mezzanine are suitable for children and teens (not adults). Patrick, his right-hand man, welcomed us warmly and was very available.

A gorgeous old stone house with chic updates. We only used 3 bedrooms and they were all comfortable with modern baths. Many places to gather, especially outside. The living room was lovely and welcoming. The farnhouse kitchen was very well supplied. The pool house was to die for and we had cocktails and even dinner there one evening. The views! Gorgeous, with castles and hot air balloons. The hosts live on site and were delightful when we ran across them but very discreet. It definitely felt like “our” property. Nothing negative to say, and we were blessed with fabulous weather! It’s in the heart of the must see towns along the Dordogne, with many restaurants and sights within 5-10 minutes. We had a great night at Cédric and Jérémy's place. Very pleasant, quiet and relaxing environment. Very nice access to the pool and spa. Very hearty breakfast. Cédric and Jérémy are nice and available people. Thanks for the stay.

Our stay was enjoyable. We went as 3 couples and 2 children (2 years and 6 years). We were able to find the accommodation easily and organize our arrival beforehand thanks to Maï's advice. Maï is very responsive. There is a view holder on site with the instructions for the accommodation and any exits as well as a document with the average travel time. It was peaceful and my son loved looking for eggs in the henhouse. There is a table and chairs outside. Barbecue is charcoal. Pontcharral Lake is about 10 minutes away with a nice beach and pontoons for jumping and pedal boats. The accommodation is very bright, with a large table for meals. This place is peaceful, quiet, a disconnection is fast given its location. The horses and chickens are calm and go about their business, as is the cat. Point to emphasize, so rare nowadays, not a single mosquito 😉
