Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

This was a marvelous, magical place to stay. It was away from the hustle and bustle and was very peaceful. The place was so nice that we almost didn’t feel like leaving it to look around lake como. As the house is on the edge of the lake we often liked to sit outside read a book accompanied by the lapping of the waves. The decor of the flat was tasteful and unique and the whole feel was luxurious. recorecommend this place more

Patrizia's accommodation was really perfect, it's bigger than it looks in the photos and it's extremely well-equipped. You'll find everything you need there. Patrizia lives in the house next door and was very welcoming to us. The location is peaceful and the little sound of the river water was very pleasant, we would have liked to stay longer if we could!

Stayed here for one night due to the amazing location near the airport. Grazia offered to pick me up from the airport as there was no public transport available at the time of my arrival. She was also very helpful with local recommendations and tips. The room was very clean and matched the pictures perfectly. Would definitely stay here again, best Airbnb experience I’ve had so far!

We loved the apartment so much! This is our favorite airbnb in a city that we’ve ever stayed in! The space is beautifully renovated with modern marble counters+wooden floors, and was spotlessly clean. The shower was very spacious and the bed was comfortable! Most of all we need AC and it functioned very well! We washed our clothes in the washer/dryer. The apartment is in a great location; a quick walk to a picturesque historic city center with great dining. Manuela left us pasta+sauce, fresh fruit, water, and so many snacks! This food was crucial because we arrived very hungry, and she saved us precious time not needing to go to the grocery store! So much food to stock the apartment was a very generous touch, and much more than we’ve ever received from any other host! We also really appreciated that she let us check in early! Overall, we felt super relaxed, comfortable, and happy here! It felt like home away from home. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Manuela!

Yoko, Paolo, and their daughter were friendly and welcoming to their 400 year old home in Morcote. The attic room is spacious with its own living room besides bedroom. Steps from Morcote ferry, shops and restaurants, the location is ideal for ferry rides across Lake Lugano, exploring Morcote’s beautiful hilltop church with amazing views of the lake, and mountains of Lugano. Breakfast in the garden was a plus surrounded by Paolo’s garden and bonsais. Great chats and their local insights were spot on. Lovely stay and a joy to visit!
