The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

It is located in the middle of 3 hectares of fields on the edge of a pine forest. Inside, a warm atmosphere awaits you with its brick walls, parquet floors and exposed beams, in winter its wood stove for an evening by the fire. In summer, the covered terrace offers views of the sunset.
