Hampi in itself is such a magical place & to be able to stay at a walking distance away from some of its major attractions was a treat in itself. We thoroughly enjoyed the Hampi Utsav as well. Location is highly appreciated. Had the opportunity to meet Megha & her father, they were lovely & responsive hosts, the family also runs a small cafe, relished their dosas. Another restaurant down the road provides delicious meals till late in the night. Lastly, the AC was a big relief. It's already turned so hot that we were thankful to be able spend the afternoons inside the room & regain our energy for the evening sight seeing. Thank you & we hope to be back in future!

Venu was a great host - great energy, very helpful and responsive to all of my changes and requests throughout the stay. Venu helped organise an auto rickshaw driver for me during my stay as well. The accomodation is in a beautiful location, hidden away amongst the banana trees and very peaceful. If you want to get close to nature, then this is the place for you! I loved it, almost like camping, but with a real mattress - I even had a beautiful gecko visit my room! Sadly I visited during the off season so the restaurant wasn’t open, but it looks like a great space.

I recently stayed at Viru Rashmitha Homestay in Hampi for three days, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, Viru made me feel completely at home with his warm hospitality and genuine care. The homestay is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located, allowing easy access to the beauty and history of Hampi. What truly sets this place apart is Viru himself—he goes above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need. I can honestly say he’s the best host in Hampi, and I’d highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting the area.
