Monthly Rentals in Watendlath

First holiday in the Lake District and it was great! The cottage was brilliant, just right for us, clean and tidy, 4 poster bed was impressive and not forgetting the hot tub which was excellent after a day's walking. Hazel and Steve were very helpful on recommended walks, we didn't use the car since all the walks in the local area were fantastic. We walked for 5 days, weather was great, one of the best hoildays we have had, so peaceful, freindly people whereever we went to, on the 6th day we rested....the feet deserved a break! We absolutely loved our stay at Foxwood Cottage. The location is truly breathtaking, with stunning views from every window and corner of the garden. Waking up to the sound of the river and birdsong was such a treat. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a BnB with such beautiful surroundings. The cottage itself is cosy, welcoming, and well-equipped with everything you could need. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and we all slept so well. There are also two fantastic pubs nearby — The Yew Tree and The Langstrath Country Inn — both serving delicious food and have a friendly atmosphere. A brilliant stay from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Halfpenny cottage! Very spacious but still cozy. Situated in a self catering area, so felt very safe. And surrounded by the beautiful fells! All the utensils and amenities we needed were provided. Lewis was great at clearly communicating instructions so check in was very smooth and we felt we could reach out if there were any concerns. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a retreat in the Lakes!

We had a slight issued getting in but we called Jade and she sorted it out straight away. The accommodation is described very accurately so you know exactly what you are going to get. Great location for nights out in Keswick and for walking the surrounding hills.
