Monthly Rentals in Wearhead

We stayed at Bruce and Anita’s beautiful cottage and from start to finish their communication was excellent.. on arrival Anita had baked some beautiful whole meal bread and had bought us a lovely chocolate cake , and we were welcomed by lovely music on the Alexa .. Archie our Airedale terrier also loved the treats they left for him . The cottage was enchanting , pristine a beautiful enclosed garden for Archie and had everything we needed for our 3 day stay .. the views were breathtaking and it was so peaceful , quiet and the village and river were within walking distance. Hubby is a keen birdwatcher and enjoyed the conversation with Anita about all the birds within the location and was impressed they had 7 swift bird boxes .. Anita , Bruce and their beautiful dogs ( 3 rough collies) cottage comes highly recommended and we hope to revisit soon x Thankyou

We had the best stay, the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Walkable distance to a lovely little pub and co-op. Ruth was a fab host! We wish we could have stayed a few more days, hopfully we will be back for longer soon x

Fantastic place, wish I'd known about it sooner! Extra points for the well-equipped kitchen. Friendly hosts and obviously a very peaceful night's sleep. Looking forward to going back

What a stunning place to say. The cottage was surrounded with views and inside has loads of character! Will definitely look to book again in the future. I thankfully had nice weather so managed to make use of the garden to sit and work on my laptop, there was some seats to use which is great. Cottage was clean and cozy, I almost expected to feel a little bit cold (which I would’ve been happy with) but it was so inviting and warm inside I’d have happily moved in. Hosts were super helpful, instructions getting to the lodge were helpful and clear including getting into the cottage. Wouldn’t be the best if you had a lowered car just for the track but so nice to be away from the road and not overlooked! Can not recommend enough!!
