The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso machine) and the sunny terrace with barbecue, dining table and lounger invites you to relax. For families with children, all the necessary things are available. The bus stop is at the door (train station 10 min, public transport 20 min to FFM), numerous hiking and cycling trails in the Taunus in the surrounding area.

Die offene Atelierwohnung im Torhaus ist Teil einer ausgebauten Hofreite aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Alte Hölzer und freigelegtes Fachwerk sind von Rosenstöcken und einem wunderschönen Garten umgeben. Beim Einrichten haben wir großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Bestehendes wurde auf- und umgearbeitet. Ein Großteil der Leuchten, Textilien sowie die Bilder stammen aus unserem Atelier. Dadurch bekommt die offene Architektur ihren besonderen Stil sowie den freundlichen und eigenen Charakter.

Das hochwertige Interieur läd zum Relaxen ein. Hier, am Tor zum Vogelsberg befindet sich u.a. der Einstieg zum Vulkan Mountainbiketrail "Mühlental". Bike Ladestation direkt am Appartement. Danach ein Saunagang? Bei Interesse besteht die Möglichkeit eine Spritztour mit meinen US Oldies zu unternehmen ;-)

The house, surrounded by a large garden, is located on the edge of the forest and is still centrally located in the Rhine-Main area with quick access to the A3 and A66 highways. In a few minutes by car, the airport (17 km) and the cities of Frankfurt (24 km), Wiesbaden (15 km) or Mainz (16 km) with their diverse offerings can be reached.

In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. A fire pit with firewood and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).
