Picturesque hill walks are on the doorstep and nearby highlights include Snowdonia/Eryri, Powys Castle, Lake Vyrnwy and magnificent beaches; there are plenty of activities to suit everyone. Our cosy cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, one double bed and sitting room/diner with views across the valley.

Orchard cottage Welshpool powys
Welcome to Orchard cottage, a single storey building, annexed to ( but separate from ) our house. The cottage is furnished to a high standard. We are situated on the outskirts of a private residential area, just 400 metres from the centre of the historic market town of Welshpool, there are various shops, supermarkets, pubs & restaurants. The magnificent Powis castle is a short walk from the town centre, through the beautiful parkland. Other attractions include Montgomery canal & light railway.

Stunning refurbished Grade II Listed building
The Summerhouse sits 250m from Offa's Dyke Path with access to miles of walks, ideal for anyone wanting to explore Shropshire and mid-Wales. It is a charming Grade 2 listed building, with commanding views of the Severn Valley to Montgomery. Recently refurbished - the top floor has a comfortable super-king double bed, beneath a Victorian vaulted wooden ceiling and a cosy sitting area with QLED TV and super fast fibre broadband. Ample car parking with external electric vehicle charging point.

Lake Farm Shepherds Hut, Self Catering & hot tub
Our beautiful Black Mountain shepherds hut and undercover hot tub is perched above our wildlife pond, with views over the Welsh hills. It includes double bed, en suite shower room, and for romantic evenings why not light the little hobbit stove. Adjacent to the hut is a charming boathouse, which houses the self catering facilities. Our boathouse opens up to appreciate the views & great outdoors or can be closed up for cosy times by the log burner. Check in is from 4pm Check out is 10.30am

The Garage, perfect couples retreat! Dog friendly
Forget your worries in this spacious and serene place. The Garage, the perfect place for any couple to hide away together for some much needed rest & recuperation. This newly renovated garage annexe is the most perfect place for any couple to spend a few days away. With views of neighbouring fields and hills these can really be admired from the property's own private hot tub. Soak away your stay from here with a glass of bubbly or two! Cook up a storm in the kitchen and relax by the fire.

Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)
Modern, very comfortable and very clean. Sleeps 4, double ensuite room and double/twin room also ensuite. Outside area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. In a quiet village setting with two pubs serving food within a two minutes walk of the cottage. Free wifi, smart TV’s in bedrooms. Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.
