Kid-friendly holiday rentals in West Allis

We recently returned home from our visit to Milwaukee. Our stay with Dan and Catherine far exceeded our expectations. The home had great character and was super comforting. The location was so drivable. We were just a short drive from the Baird center where our convention was being held. I would definitely recommend staying here. If we make it back to MKE, we will definitely try to visit again.

Had a wonderful stay at Andrew’s place. The duplex was as described, communication from the host was excellent, and I adore the mid century modern decor. I’ll be back in the area in 2026 and if the timing works, I’d love to stay here again.

Lorinda was as kind and helpful as a host could be. We rented the place for our son and daughter in law to be near by while they were visiting us from California with our new granddaughter. The place was clean and cozy and she left them a welcoming gift as well as flowers and a well layed out guest instruction folder. She even offered to drop off some things our son left behind after they checked out. There were no accommodations for the baby but we knew that ahead of time and we were able to bring a couple of things into the home to for her to sleep in etc. We would be happy to have our family stay there again when they come to visit.

This lovely home in Greendale was one of our favorite Airbnb stays. The house has character, was very clean and cozy, had comfortable beds and actually had comfortable pillows! My twin boys gave the stamp of approval and said they’d slept so good. Greendale itself was adorable with breakfast, coffee, lunch and dinner spots a nice short stroll away. This location was six minutes to the baseball complex for our son’s tournament and couldn’t have been handier. And the host, Jody, was wonderful and helpful. My fingers are crossed this place will be available for our next tournament!

Matt and Karla were so kind and quick to answer our questions before and during our trip! Cute little house and perfect place for a long weekend with friends!!

This was one of my favorite Airbnb stays! We loved the historical items in the house, especially the laundry chute, milk delivery door, etc. We felt right at home, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Plus, Justin left us a surprise snack. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

We were in the Milwaukee area for our son’s graduation from UWM. This location nice and close to the campus, without being the right in the heart of busyness. This street was pretty quiet, which we enjoyed. Access to the garage was behind the house in an alley, but very easy to get to. The house was clean and comfortable. The check-in and check-out instructions were very clear, and Karen was always quick to respond to messages! Very happy with our stay!

This place was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed a wonderful stay is a beautiful old home! We were able to walk to the BMO Harris Pavilion for the concert. It was a great (even if brief) stay for us.

Ryan's place was good and very close to the city, beaches and cafes. Only issue we ran into was kitchen power went out while cooking dinner. When we reached out. Ryan was quick enough to help us with the instructions to bring power back up. Overall, good place to stay which was within our budget.

The apartment is adorable. Well furnished and comfortable. It was almost everything we hoped for. Unfortunately, it's above a (really cute) bar, so the music was loud for sleeping They did however, provide white noise machines. We like to be outside, but there is no outside space for sitting, and it's on a very busy street. If those two things don't bother you, you'll love the place.

Andy's place was truly home away from home. The home is very beautiful and equipped with all the items a person would need. There are lots of sitting spaces to enjoy the outdoors which we really liked. The neighborhood is charming and within walking distance (a block or two) to local establishments. I would definitely recommend Andy's home and will visit again myself in the future.

Several reviews about the walls were helpful but no one in the building was making much noise. I could hear neighbors, but they were all respectful. I wanted to hear the train more. I could NOT hear the train passing by, and I love the sound of a train. I loved the place. I would definitely go back.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Carlos's. The space was exactly like the photos, and we had more resources than we even planned on. It's a well-insulated basement space, so even on our last day when the weather was very warm outside, it was downright chilly inside. There was plenty of hot water for the shower, parking was easy to find with clear instructions provided, and enough space for what we needed. We realized our first night that we forgot toothpaste, and Carlos and his wife were so generous to bring some down for us to use until we could get to the store the next morning. Some other reviews mentioned the low ceiling, and while my husband is over 6 ft tall, he had no issues. The space was very affordable for the location, and Carlos and his family are gracious hosts. Absolutely would recommend staying here.

Amazing place! Beautifully decorated and tons of amenities. We loved the location and being able to walk to lots of restaurants. Would love to stay again!

It was a fantastic place. Russell & Dina were very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Had a great time, loved the neighborhood and proximity to attractions we planned to visit. Will say that you can definitely hear noise between floors so I would not stay with our young children again because while I fortunately believe no one was overlapping with us, it was very obvious when cleaners arrived on our check out day. Downstairs neighbors probably wouldn't have appreciated children above them! Beautiful place and I'm obsessed with the wallpaper.

Once we landed in Milwaukee, we texted Jodi to let her know when we expected to arrive at her place. She quickly responded that she had some errands but provided the entry code and made us feel welcome. We got settled in and then she reached out via text to let us know she had returned. She came up to meet us in person and helped us understand the city requirements for parking on the street. She had already provided the URL to the registration site and just made sure we were comfortable with what needed to be done. She later informed me that I'd parked on the wrong side of the street so that I could move the vehicle so that it didn't get a ticket. I appreciated that. We were out and about most of the time we were there. The notes that she had placed throughout were very helpful. The booklet that she printed was very clear and her expectations were reasonable and easy to meet. It's an older home, but very quaint and pretty cool.

We rented this entire house, both upper and lower units (separate listings) for our wedding across the street at South Shore Pavilion. This rental was outstanding and created a beautiful and stress free home-base for our wedding guests and weekend. The bridal party was able to get ready here before the ceremony and guests from out of town had clean private bedrooms to stay in. Awesome eclectic vibe and plenty of places to relax, with plenty of extra room. I recommend this rental to anyone spending an important weekend in Bayview, like a wedding. The next door neighbors were courteous and very tolerant of our busy weekend. Instructions were clear for how to stay out of their way and how to be good guests in the neighborhood of mostly homeowners. I would not consider this a “party house” given the context of the neighborhood and rather a beautiful relaxing domain to enjoy the best neighborhood in Milwaukee.

We had a fantastic long weekend at this Airbnb! The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the area – everything we wanted to see and do was within easy reach. The place itself was wonderful; clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

We had a great time staying here! It was in a great location in walking distance to tons of bars, restaurants, etc. easy to find parking near by. The host was also super responsive to any questions we had. Looks exactly like the photos. Our group loved it. Thanks again!
