Holiday rentals with beach access in West LA

Tano’s place is very cute and clean. We appreciated being able to walk a couple blocks to lots of restaurants/bars/shops. Although we didn’t get to spend much time at the apartment since we were on the move the whole time, we would definitely return for a more leisurely stay.

I had a great stay at Venice! The room is convenient, cosy and kept us cool in the heat! Location is right by the beach and has a lovely little view. Can be a bit of noise in the morning from a garage nearby but honestly did not bother me. Communication and check-in information was nice and clear and I thought the place was very well priced for the location! Couldn’t have asked for more!

Lisa's apartment is ideally located, close to the beach and lots of fun. places in Santa Monica. The apartment is clean and comfortable, and Lisa's instructions were clear and helpful. In addition, she very kindly allowed me to check in early from an early arriving flight, which was very helpful. I would happily return and would;d recommend it to anyone staying in Santa Monica.

This property was our family's favourite in their entire trip to California. The place is exactly what it looks like. It's gorgeous, well-maintained and walking distance from the beach. It has plenty of amenities too. If you plan to cook your own food, you might have to drive a little or door dash your groceries. We really enjoyed our stay!

The stay at Steve's place was pleasant in every aspect. The location of the accommodation is great, the metro is just a few minutes' walk away and you can also easily walk to the Santa Monica Pier. The accommodation had everything we needed and there were also beach towels. The contact with Steve was uncomplicated and very friendly. A definite recommendation all in all!

James’ apartment was the perfect place for us to stay for the weekend! Was very clean and close to many restaurants and the beach. James was clear in communication and the place was very clean.

We loved staying at this cute little bungalow. The location was perfect, the decor was cute, and there was plenty of space. One of the things that was a blessing, there was TP, paper towels, and a few necessities that we did not have to run out and purchase more. Access to beach towels, chairs, and bikes was a plus. The location was easy in and out and the parking space was a bonus. There was just 1 day that someone parked in our space so we took our car to our sons and parked there, luckily he was close. I would highly recommend this space to anyone traveling to Santa Monica, it was just perfect! Thanks and happy summer.

The flat is just like what you see from photos, it was clean, getting lots of light and view was amazing. It was really close to ocean and Pier. It was a great experience.

Augustin - Matthew co-host - was very kind to us and answered all our questions quickly. The house is adorable, even more than in the pictures. We had a great stay and will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Ari's house! Everything was beautiful and especially enjoyed the backyard as a family.

I had another fantastic stay at Kathy’s Airbnb! The drive along Corall Canyon offers stunning views of the ocean, Santa Monica, Palos Verdes, and Catalina Island. Kathy’s home features incredible sunrise views, with gentle morning fog below. The open layout connecting the bedroom, living room, kitchenette, and bathroom creates a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Kathy is a wonderful host, always responsive to my needs. If you’re seeking a serene getaway with gorgeous vistas and a lovely host, I highly recommend this place!

Shell House was the perfect stay to end our road trip! Courtney has been an ideal host, no question was too much, she was always quick to respond and so accommodating. The house it’s self was so idilic and the aesthetic fit the location. It was close to the beach and Abbott Kinney BL for shops, coffee and restaurants. We would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone considering a visit to LA to book Shell House.

We’re glad that we booked this place! It’s is located centrally to a lot of things you’d want to do in LA, and like other reviews mention, is on a nice, quiet street. We never struggled to find parking. Toni responds to most messages on the platform almost instantly, which is impressive. I appreciated the picture of the stuff in the closet for kids; saved us from needing to lug a stroller across the country.

Great stay. Surprisingly spacious! And very quiet at night! Plenty of good cafes and food nearby. We loved it, hope to be back.

It’s rare that you step foot into a house and feel at home. And that’s exactly how I felt the moment I entered. Everything was perfect. From hopping on a call with me before I was there to making sure I had everything I needed during my stay. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time here and I definitely want to return again. The location is fantastic and very close to Santa Monica. I really enjoyed the stay and Chantal was very responsive and with everything that I needed she delivered it quickly! The room was clean and the space is very homey and private.

This place was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of the water! Beach access was also great to have very close by! It was great being able to fall asleep with the sound of the waves! Amazing air bnb to stay at!

The property was very beautiful in a walkable neighborhood of Manhattan Beach, close to almost anything you could think of. When we arrived the place was definitely cleaned and ready to go. MB is one of my favorite places so to have found this last minute only a min or so walk from the beach was awesome! Check in was breezy and we seemed to have our own privacy which was key! This was a mother-son trip .I will give it to them the property is clean and in a perfect area. Upon check in the replies were a bit impersonal. Didnt really get the welcome to MB from the host i have experienced with past airbnbs. Got a “yea we have basics” reply to my question about pots and pans and although this didnt affect the stay in any way there was a moment or 2 i was second guessing the vibe, when the host did reply it was short and concise(to the point) Also it definitely gets a bit hot inside, and the AC could have been more efficient but what do u expect in LA😎☀️🕶️ We would live here its great

Amazing place, with a beautiful kitchen! The building itself was very quiet. Most everything was walkable, or at least a very short uber ride away! Any questions we had we got a response very quickly. A perfect stay for the weekend!

Loved our stay here! We were instantly comfortable and had everything we needed. Easy instructions to get in. Felt safe and private. Typical city noise which is to be expected, but nothing bad at all, and the windows block out the noise perfectly so we slept great! No complaints and hope to come back next time we're in town for a concert! Thank you so much Christina!

John and Vincent were perfect hosts. Went out of their way to make the check in smooth, and be responsive. Their bnb is in a fantastic location, we walked everywhere , access to the beach was super easy and we were surrounded by great restaurants. My family had a wonderful break, we would go back in a heartbeat.

Great area! Short walk to the beach and a short drive to the pier. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and made dinner time easy. Comfy beds, big bathrooms and a nice quiet outside area. The house has great history and felt cozy. The kitchen area is an add on that can only be accessed through the courtyard area. Be prepared that you will hear the owners/occupants above you when they walk and you often can hear them talking.

First off, Mo and Ness went above and beyond in terms of communication. They helped us get our booking sorted with less than 48 hours until we landed for our vacation after our previous host had to cancel last minute. While I was scrambling (at about 10pm) with Airbnb customer support, I reached out to Mo and explained our situation. He responded within about 10 minutes and graciously held the dates for us while I finished getting things sorted. The home was exactly what we were hoping for and was exactly as listed. The location was great. Little town noise during the day which was to be expected with the location but surprisingly very quiet at night with the local ordinances. The two porches were my favorite part of the property with lots of humming birds coming to visit. Perfect location for beach visits/canal walks and many great food and coffee options all within walking distance. We had an amazing stay in this lovely home. Truly hope to go back. Thank you very much!
