Holiday rentals with a fireplace in West LA

Casey is an amazingly good business man! He was extremely communicative, professional, friendly, empathetic and responsive. Literally the ideal host. The location is wildly perfect for a recharging getaway that’s near strip malls. The home is very close to Ventura Rd. and near freeways so relatively quickly to get to destinations. Inside the home, the view over the city is spectacular. The place was roomy and relaxing. There is great space for entertaining and hanging with family. Casey made the stay nice. Would certainly recommend it for anyone considering a stay in LA.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was immaculately clean and very well maintained, which made it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. All instructions were clearly laid out, with helpful labels in all the right places—making everything super easy to navigate. What really stood out was the host’s exceptional thoughtfulness and hospitality. When I enquired about availability of a baby bathtub, the host went out of their way to order one ahead of our arrival just to make sure our needs were taken care of. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. Highly recommend this place—would absolutely stay here again!

Wow!! So glad we found Eitay’s place! It was perfect and we loved staying there. The location had an incredible view, very nice neighborhood, and a great area. The beds were comfortable and they had so many comforts of home that were greatly appreciated. The owners provided great instructions and were wonderful. Would definitely stay again!

I’m extremely satisfied with John’s beautiful house, and I can say this is the best place I’ve ever stayed in LA among all of my 17 LA trips. My parents were so obsessed with John’s place and they said they wanna stay here forever. John’s place was so clean, bright, and prestige, which was exactly matched with the pictures. John was also being very responsive and friendly (always reply less than 10 mins). Nice place and totally worthy!

Truly fabulous place to stay! We were displaced in the LA Fires and were fortunate enough to make this our home-away-from-home for 4 weeks. Elizabeth and Ryan were amazing hosts - going above and beyond with all the extras because they knew our situation. They stocked the fridge and cabinets with all the basics and a few treats and even had fresh bread and flowers waiting when we arrived. There wasn’t one thing missing from the house and they were incredibly responsive and generous. 5 stars is an understatement on this little zen gem tucked up in the hills… serene with a fantastic view, koi fish in the pond, and the sound of trickling water to fall asleep to at night. Hallgrim was a very gracious host. We were moving from another Airbnb & needed a place to stow our refrigerated food for 3 hours. He easily accommodated that & ultimately said we could just check in early. One caveat - be sure you understand the street parking protocol. It works but it can be tight, especially late at night. We always found a spot but you will need good parallel parking skills. The house is personal & eclectic & you will feel like you are staying at a good friend’s house. This is not the usual “just the basics” corporate Airbnb. It is a home. My daughter & I felt very comfortable staying here & would definitely book it again. The Canyon has a unique history. In addition to looking thru the beautiful coffee table book Hallgrim has left out for his guests to enjoy, you must watch Echo in the Canyon for an extended stroll through the musical history of this unique canyon. You’ll be singing Mamas and Papas songs on your way down to Lilly’s Cafe in no time!

This was a perfect spot for my husband, daughter and I to sight see Southern California. The location was incredibly safe and grocery stores and restaurants were walkable.

Wow, what an incredible two days! This unit truly exceeded my expectations. It had everything I needed and so much more. The beauty of the canyon left me in awe, and there was something magical about savoring breakfast while soaking in that breathtaking morning view. I felt completely at peace, especially since I didn’t come across anyone else during my stay—such a perfect sense of privacy! I can’t express how much I’d love to return and relive this wonderful experience. Thank you Mona and Daniel for everything!

The way Cliff treated us as guests really touched my heart. To say he goes above and beyond is an understatement. The location was literally perfect for us and it’s such a great deal. It really is a private place. We felt nice and tucked away.

The apartment was clean and had a terrific view. We loved the neighborhood and walked by the ocean everyday.

A stay at this location should be the standard for all airbnbs! Absolutely wonderful location and decor, it was easy to feel right at home the moment we walked through the door. I felt extremely safe and the walkability in downtown Santa Monica can’t be beat. Joe was incredibly responsive to any questions I had and the checkout was standard to a hotel. Other airbnb’s could take a lesson in the friendly demeanor, clean facility, clear instructions and stress free checkout. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a great time staying here. The beach is only steps away and walkable to great shops and restaurants. We would be happy to come back again sometime!

House was as expected. The host was extremely accommodating for our big group. Checkin was easy and seamless. The only issue we had was that WiFi didn’t work well in downstairs master. Other than that, this house was everything we needed and more. Irene was fantastic! I wish all hosts were like her.

Liza and Pascal are phenomenal hosts! They are hospitable, attentive, and accessible! I appreciated Liza checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable, and her readiness to recommend great places to eat and fun things to do in the area. If I had a question, she answered within minutes. The house is beautiful! It is clean, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood. This was my first time using Airbnb, and I could not have asked for a better experience!

Vanessa’s Malibu Vista home was perfect for our family to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Pepperdine. Vanessa went above and beyond to provide us with tables to use outside and help us to accommodate parking for our guests. We also had a barbecue to use.. There were 10 of us staying at her place and it worked perfectly with the two bathrooms on the main level and one bathroom upstairs. Although it was foggy most of the time we were there we got brief glimpses of the amazing ocean view. There were also outdoor places to keep warm by the fire heated table.

We had a great stay at this house! Our three favorite parts - the awesome views (even better in person), the beautiful pool/hot tub (which was always very clean), and getting to love on Bella (their super sweet dog). Stephen communicates very well. They gave us all the privacy we needed. The house was a perfect size for our family (brought our two kids) and the extra long patio was great. A few areas in the house could use updates (example: the shower knobs are difficult to turn) but it was all clean, which I strongly appreciate. The views, pool, and Bella made our trip amazing for sure! Thank you Stephen and Pim.

It was the perfect place for my family traveling from out of town to celebrate a monumental event in our family, a graduation. It the perfect size and space to accommodate all comfortably and peacefully.
