Holiday rentals with a fire pit in West Yorkshire

We loved the cottage very comfortable amazing views in a beautiful setting. The hot tub overlooking the lake was idyllic. Sarah was a fabulous host nothing was too much trouble. Children friendly games etc well equipped the grandchildren loved the cats visiting, feeding the goats treats and playing in the garden. Plenty of wonderful walks we loved the canal walks stumbled across great cafes pubs and local shops...the local pub the junction had a great menu and food was delicious. We would definitely come back again thanks again Sarah

Michelle’s cottage is perfect for a quiet holiday away! It has been tastefully updated and modernized in a way that ties in beautifully with the original features of the home. The views from the garden are spectacular, and it’s great to be so close to all of the amenities of town yet feel like you are so remote! Overall great experience staying here as a family with two children, it was the perfect place to relax!

Shirley was a great host, helpful and responsive. The cottage was lovely and in a beautiful location. There are lots of lovely walking trails to help explore the local countryside.

We had an amazing stay at barn elm lodge! The house was massive and easily accommodated the 10 of us with so much space and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. Host very responsive and friendly

The cottage was charming, impeccably presented and very comfortable. Everything has been carefully planned with the interest and convenience of guests in mind. The hosts were proactive, attentive and responsive. I couldn't fault it.

Lovely house very clean and tidy, lots of dvds and tv has free view, Netflix etc, very well equipped has everything you need, great location for us visiting Bramham horse trials. Will definitely stay again.

This venue was amazing. Clean, spacious, and with everything described. The host was friendly, accommodating, and replied to any questions within minutes. The countryside views, and the walks in this area are just idyllic. The family and I would 100% recommend.

This is our second visit in the space of 3 months. We specifically chose to return as it feels like home from home. Lesley and Jez are very friendly and accommodating. The lodge has everything we need, including a lovely garden and wonderful views. We highly recommend this accommodation, and won’t hesitate to book it again.

Mike's place was perfect for our 3 night trip to the Colne Valley. The farm shop just across the road and pub a short walk away were very handy. The place was very clean and had everything we needed, and we felt really comfortable as soon as we walked through the front door. Would lo e to come back and explore the area more.

Loved the one night stay I had here very nice property would highly recommend, super clean and tidy, very friendly, easy communication, very modern and out standing would definitely stay again.

Having a house number would have helped me to find it. Maybe I missed something but I needed to call to get advice on the exact location.

Whilst it’s never easy being away from our own home at Christmas - we have family nearby to Saltaire and so this is the second time we have spent the festive period in Nina’s wonderful place and we couldn’t have felt more at home! It’s wonderfully cosy and comfortable and we even had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree! The river both calm and then rushing by outside over the weir is a delight and we were lucky enough to see the heron hunting for its breakfast most mornings. Thank you Nina for sharing your amazing home with us - again! We had a great time and were really sad to leave our little home from home.

We loved our stay at Katie's. It's in beautiful surroundings with lots of walks you can do from the door & it's wonderfully peaceful. Highview had everything we needed for a comfortable stay & Katie went above & beyond to welcome us & make sure we had a great weekend.

Lovely stay, very clean and responsive host

A really lovely little stay within reach of York. To get into York we did both the park and ride one day and on the other days we caught the bus from directly outside the property and then got a taxi back for £15 on an evening. The cabin itself is lovely. Really well thought out. The kitchenette has a fridge/freezer/oven/hob/toaster and kettle so was really well kitted out for self catering. Our children loved the games room and most evenings ended with darts and snooker being played - normally at the same time! There’s so much to do in York and we also drove to the Eden Camp museum and had a full day there. Kieran was on hand if we had any questions or needed anything too. We loved the ‘picture window’ looking out of the back of the cabin. We were all delighted to see red kites flying above the meadow quite frequently and also very near to us. We also loved discovering a little hedgehog snuffling about in the hedgerow.

Beautiful idyllic setting. Felt very private. Lovely retreat for a couple taking a break away from family responsibilities!

We all had a most enjoyable stay in the idyllic setting overlooking the most picturesque lake teaming with wildlife just perfect even being able to row the boat & paddle board around the lake just perfect. We celebrated a 50th birthday & had everything provided for a lovely stay. I would definitely be booking again! Enjoying a coffee in the morning being greeted by the ducks & geese swimming to the lodges with the young following, the fish swimming by (binoculars provided) The kitchen has everything and more that you would need for your stay condiments etc provided. Such a private & relaxing place to be in a lovely setting. I would definitely recommend a stay our family loved staying here and theres a play area which is perfect a trampoline, swing set, climbing frame etc the kids loved the boat especially being rowed out even life jackets are provided. The bedrooms and living area are perfectly set out with en-suite & children’s books and games.

Loved it thoroughly. Such a beautiful area and we really appreciated the booklets outlining things to do nearby.

We had a wonderfully peaceful week by the lake. The cottage had everything we needed. We felt like were cut off from the world but there were plenty of food and shop options very nearby. A lovely place to unwind with the family.

The cabin is peaceful and serene, and the tranquil garden alongside the natural pool and sauna makes for a wonderful, relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. Thanks Will!

Still trying to get over this dream place where we spent the weekend. What a magical experience! 🧡 The house was simply perfect — a jacuzzi with a view of nature that looked like a movie set. Alex and I kept saying: we would live here without a doubt. It made us want to freeze time and never leave. Everything was impeccable: clean, smelled nice, super comfortable bed, soft pillows, nice sheets… We slept as if we were at home (or better, lol). And we were even welcomed with pro-dry and milk in the fridge — every detail was thought of with care. Seriously, one of the best places we've ever stayed on Airbnb. We left there recharged, happy and with our hearts warmed. 🌿💫 Thank you, universe, for this refuge.
