Cottage holiday rentals in Western Greece

Amanda's house is very convenient for relaxing with a family especially with children; The sea is right in front, the area is very quite and relaxing and you can stroll around the village. The house is very well equipped, there where even lots of kids toys that kept our kids busy and excited! There are some cafes and restaurants in the area and this is also very convenient. Amanda was very responsive, giving clear instructions and being very helpful. I totally recomment visiting the only thing you should take into consideration is the stairs, there is a protective nest but if you have young children you might want to take this into consideration! Thank you for hosting us.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely farmhouse! The host Christos was super nice — always quick to reply and helped us with everything we needed. The place is just like in the pictures: quiet, private, with a beautiful green yard, a jacuzzi, and a terrace with a BBQ area. We especially loved the swallows living in the yard — they made the place feel even more special. After the busy city life, this was the perfect spot to relax for the weekend. Would definitely come back!

Dear Leticia and Spiros! We really didn’t want to go home! Their hospitality was outstanding, they were the best hosts we could find!!! Spiros even brought us apple pie, homemade, best we’ve ever had! We loved the quiet atmosphere, the house is completely remote and surrounded by olive trees. Our daughter loved the cats that are in the area, they all had names in the end :-) They waited for us at the church in the middle of the village and brought us to the house. We had snacks and water and wine from them. They showed us around, made sure we got everything we need. It was just perfect. We had the best holiday there! These people just deserve the 5 star rating! See you soon Leticia and Spiros. We will come back soon!

Extremely friendly and communicative host, with helpful tips! The house is located in a very small village outside Karpenisi (~15 minutes). You're surrounded by nature and quiet. The view from the balcony is amazing. There were 6 of us and we fit comfortably. We were very satisfied and happy with our stay! :)

Diana welcomed us and was consistently available and very responsive. Very good location (walks around the house), good restaurants around, however, a vehicle is required to get around the island. Very nice private pool and cleaned daily, outdoor at the top, ideal for children. However, the materials inside the house are outdated and need a refresh. I also chose this place for the great reviews. I was extremely satisfied because they were absolutely true, there was nothing that disappointed me, on the contrary... Everything has already been written in the previous reviews... Very clean house with everything you need, outdoor and indoor patio (with very comfortable outdoor shower) super relaxing. But the added value is the DELICIOUS people who also delighted us with culinary delights. I would add that the location for us was optimal, very close to our favorite beach Xigia Pelagaki, not far from Zakynthos Town and a few minutes from Alikes which offers the choice of many restaurants and services. From there we easily reached Porto Vromi where we rented a boat to see Shipwreck Beach. Super recommended, my family and I left our hearts there.

We really loved staying at Alex’s place. We arrived during a storm, and he brought us extra blankets for the beds to keep us cosy. Also he gave us some delicious home made cake! On our last day he brought us some more sweet treats. We felt really spoilt. The area is lovely. We explored the nearby island of Lefkada, and visited Mytikas too. The apartment is very well equipped- especially the kitchen, ( Alex is a chef at the local yacht club during the summer season). It was warm and cosy, and we had such a great view from the lounge. We would love to visit again.

We absolutely LOVED staying here with Antonis & his lovely wife. There were many reasons we chose to stay here over a big hotel but the main reasons were 1) the location is absolute beach front & 2) the reviews of the hosts being so wonderful. We were not disappointed! The location was very private, quiet & safe. The hosts only rent out 2 of the 4 cottages in Airbnb & save the other 2 for family when they visit. So the massive patio full of sun loungers was practically always empty & we could make ourselves at home everyday. The room was bigger than what we expected but as seen in the photos- very basic. Having said that- it has everything you need because you literally only use the room to sleep! The surroundings are so gorgeous that you rarely go inside! We were made to feel like family- from driving us to the supermarket, inflating the kids floats for them to bringing us fresh fruits & home baked goods. It was difficult to leave & we'll certainly be back. We struck Airbnb gold here!

Everything was perfect

Eleni's house is basically the upper level of the house. Eleni lives downstairs, she is a lovely, generous woman, who took care of everything for us, spoiled the children with chocolate and us with the dish that just cooked in the kitchen. We loved her very much. The house is very clean and even when ants came to visit Eleni took care of it immediately and it didn't bother us to enjoy this lovely place. For a descent house with access to the sea, or a deep area with a ladder or a cute little beach.. we enjoyed both very much. In the morning the sea is calm and beautiful and you can see sea turtles that live there always. In the nearby village there is not too much and the nearest city is 13 minutes away.. We had a very fun 4 nights and would love to stay again.

My husband and I, together with our lively 5-year-old, recently had the absolute pleasure of soaking in the serenity and beauty of *Lithalona Villas*. From the moment you enter the gates, the passion and dedication of Dimitra and Nicholas exudes from every detail, and their attentiveness and hospitality are second to none. The villa itself was beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed… While the natural beauty of the significant estate is truly breathtaking, with a delightful garden filled with wonderful flora, hidden paths and cozy terraces - all with the azure sea literally a few meters from your doorstep. There are private entrances to the cove beaches, as well as direct access to the larger Marathias beach. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the wonderful island of Zakynthos, but can honestly say that simply being at Lithalona and breathing in the scenery was the best part of the holiday… So don't hesitate and book your stay here. It's a decision you'll cherish!

Had the most amazing holiday here. Very restful with beautiful views from the balcony. Peace and quiet with just a couple of local bar/cafes and a well stocked supermarket. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Effie was almost instant with her responding usually within ten minutes when we contacted her. Modern furnished apartment located directly by the sea, quiet and with a super beautiful view. Spacious terrace. Well-equipped kitchen, new appliances. Super nice host, easy communication.

We had a wonderful seven days at the accommodation and felt at home from the very beginning. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and daily use. The bed is super comfortable, and the view – both from the terrace and right from bed in the morning – is absolutely stunning. The large property is accessible, but also safely enclosed so the two lovely dogs living on the farm can roam freely while staying secure. Communication with the host was excellent: very friendly, quick to respond and full of helpful tips. Shops are just a short drive away, and the sea is also very easy to reach. Patras is about 35 minutes away by car – perfect for day trips. At the same time, the location is ideal for discovering the surrounding area, whether by hiking or simply exploring. We were completely satisfied and can absolutely recommend this place – we’d come back any time!
