In the huge backyard are two private fire-pits: one on sandy area on the river bank and the other to the right of the house looking up river. Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

When I built our barn a while back Airbnb didn't even exist and we were excited to be starting a goat dairy . Now the kitchen sits where we used to milk our sweet goats by hand! We are happy to offer our guests a unique living space located in the heart of the mountains, 30 minutes from Asheville. You are welcome to roam our 28 acres on our trail system, swim in the pond, and decompress from your daily routine. Cell service is limited but we have Fiber Optic Wifi for calling & streaming.
