It is located 200 m from the edge of the forest and is the ideal starting point for hiking or cycling tours to "Kroppacher Schweiz" and with connection (1 km) to the Westerwaldsteig. Two playgrounds are not far away and there is much to discover, e.g. Hachenburg with the historic market square, the Marienstatt Abbey with monastery garden & brewery, the Westerwald Lakes District, Bad Marienberg with climbing and animal park.

There is nothing here but plenty of nature ! For hiking or cycling, you have a perfect starting point from our AirBnb ( 20 sqm with private bathroom), but it's also great to just spend a weekend. You need a car here! It is 8 minutes to the next bakery where you can have a nice breakfast, as well as to shopping facilities Edeka/ Penny 8 minutes, nearest Lidl /Aldi / Rewe/ DM 12 minutes Bonn 45 -60 min Cologne Bonn Airport 45 min Cologne 1h-1.5h

'IN THE HORSE STABLE' Door to door with chicken and horse

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.

The apartment is located near the Holzbach Gorge. Where the Westerwaldsteig invites you to hike and vacation, relax and enjoy nature. But also Limburg an der Lahn and Montabaur are just over 20 km away. Bad Marienberg with a climbing forest, animal park and swimming pool are not far from our apartment. Simply discover the Westerwald region, which is diverse and beautiful.

Our house is situated in a small place in the Westerwald, where you can relax and switch off from your everyday worries. Our apartment is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Westerwald lake district, to animal parks or to the city of Koblenz, which can be reached in 20 minutes by car. In general, we have plenty of hiking trails, lots of nature and good air!
