You won't find anything with more character than the Cave and its surroundings. Nestled at the end of a slough on Smith Lake, its seclusion adds to the appeal. Explore the waterfalls, the lake, and the cave and its unique features. Retire to the rustic cabin with beautiful lake views, indoor fireplace, and natural accents. Note that there is a set of steps (~25) to get to the cave. Ask us about options to accommodate more guests than the 4 listed. Bookings offered only 3 months in advance

Under 10 minutes to BridgeStreet, Research Park, Town Madison (Trash Pandas), Space&Rocket Center, Mid City (Orion Amphitheater), HSV Airport and more. 2 beds, 2 baths and a couch offer space for up to 4 guests. We cannot accomodate early check-in or late check-out. Please know check-in starts at 3p, check-out is a firm 10a, no exceptions. Up to 4 guests allowed, no more. If you are looking for a quiet retreat or a Homebase while you explore the local natural beauty, Serenity Cabin is for you. While sleeping 6 comfortably it also works great for a weekend getaway. You will find that the peace that radiates from the moment you enter the cabin will help you to find the needed rest you long for. The master suite is equipped with an adjunction room that offers a microwave and small coffee maker. Making drinking your coffee or hot tea on the balcony convenient.

Magical Mountain Retreat with Vintage Charm

Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.
