The Chapter House

The Chapter House is a spacious and quirky Grade II listed cottage nestled in the heart of Whitby. This central location is ideal for families and friends to use as a base to explore all that Whitby has to offer. The house started life in 1891 as a church Vestry and retains much of its original character. Please note, the church which it was part of is now a cafe and music venue. Beyond the Gothic stained glass windows, the Chapter house has all the modern amentities of a holiday hideaway

Beautiful holiday cottage located on Tate Hill beach in Whitby. 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The cottage has a lovely living area running from front to back comprising of a fitted kitchen with quartz countertops, dining & lounge area. The french doors & glass Juliet balcony allow unrestricted views across the sand below, harbour & out to sea. 4 guests max, no pets, no parties (requested quite time 10pm-7am) There is no parking in this area & cottage is unsuitable for children under 10 years old

This newly refurbished Victorian town house is only a 5 min stroll to the harbour cafes bars & restaurants. Can sleep 8, Room 1 King size bed, Room 2 double bed , Room 3 two single beds and Room 4 has a double sofa bed (ground floor), this room doubles up as a second living room when the sofa bed is not required. 2 bathrooms, one on ground floor The newly fitted kitchen and dining room are on the lower ground floor. Spacious lounge/kitchen/diner with sofa-bed and fabulous views of the Abbey, one separate double bedroom and large separate walk-in shower room. Parking space onsite or car park 1 minute away. Shared use of the front patio to enjoy the views. Well behaved dogs welcome.

There is a private patio which overlooks the sea towards the East Pier. Unlike many cottages to the East Side, there are no steps leading up to the cottage.
